First class service and value throughout my stay. If you like charm, class and really good food this is the place for you. Staff super friendly and facilities top drawer. City centre 16 mins drive but lovely rural setting. Pie of the day always good choice but everything is excellent. Good range of breakfast too.

This is the third year my partner and I have been here for our little Christmas, and this year was special as I proposed to him, and he proposed me to me too, much to our surprise! I’d let the colleagues know before hand, and they made it extra special for us! They remember that I wanted a glass of champagne of us and brought us a celebratory dessert, we were very happy and appreciative! We will continue to come back as this place is very special to us, and all the colleagues are absolutely brilliant, as is the food and accommodation too! Thank you so very much.

My wife and I had one nights B&B plus dinner at the Kings Head . The pub is set in a very picturesque location. On arrival our reception was very friendly, the interior of the dining area and our room (Blyth) was very warm and tastefully decorated. For dinner we both chose the Pie of the day and agreed that it was absolutely superb. Breakfast was even better, the Full English was without doubt the largest I have ever had and probably the best, all with top quality ingredients and unlimited tea! The service we received throughout our stay was also faultless, the staff that we met were all such a great advert for their employer, well done and thank you to all of you. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Very nice Sunday roast. Veggies were yummy and lamb cooked perfectly. Would like more gravy though and the roast potatoes were a little cold and dry. My partner loved his banoffee pudding but mine was a little disappointing, tiramisu was a bit dry.

The welcome here is warm, the service thoughtful and the food is made with quality local ingredients. The rooms are cosy and quiet, I slept so well that I took photos of the mattress, pillows and duvet so I can hunt them down online. Really enjoyed staying here, thinking of excuses to come back this way so I can stay again. Bravo.

Great place to stay. Staff very friendly and professional. Rooms very clean. Service excellent and food very good. Would certainly stay again when in the area. Breakfast fantastic, cooked fresh from our order taken. Stayed in The Langtry room with a nice view across to the stream. They do Walk In Breakfast 8 to 10. Worth every penny.

Ordered the fish plateau for £28 . On a small slate i got very cheap small looking prawns covered in a white type of sauce, a spoon of minuscule mussels. 1 slice of smoked salmon 2 sliced of cheap toasted bred and a teaspoon of fish paste with fish bones in it. It felt comically sad that they thought they can charge £28 for such a ridiculous meal. The products were of low quality. You should not do this to your customers.

Very pleased with my stay. I was in Bawburgh for a wedding at the nearby golf club so I paid for an early check-in. I was greeted warmly when I arrived; A young man checked me in, walked me over to the room, and gave me a good run-down of how everything worked, including who to get in contact with in an emergency. The room was small, but well decorated and maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. Because I booked directly with them, breakfast was included; I was able to order from the regular breakfast menu, and was given a very tasty plate of smashed avacado and poached egg. The staff were all friendly and informative. The pub itself is on the main road, easy to find, and I had a view of the riverside area from my room. An altogether pleasant experience.
