Big4 Tasman Holiday Parks - South Mission Beach

Our stay at South Mission Beach Tasman Holiday Park was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The park itself is one of the cleanest and best-maintained we’ve ever visited. The lush green grass and beautifully kept gardens create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The facilities are spotless, and the attention to detail in maintaining the park is outstanding. The pool was crystal clear and well-kept, providing the perfect spot to cool off. The pool slide and playground were a huge hit with the kids, keeping them entertained for hours. A real highlight of our stay was the incredible cassowaries and their chicks wandering through the park – a truly unforgettable experience and a testament to the park’s stunning natural surroundings. If you’re looking for a clean, well-maintained, family-friendly holiday park with exceptional service and a beautiful setting, South Mission Beach Tasman Holiday Park is the place to go. We can’t wait to return!

Excellent Park Easily Accessible carvan sites. Managers Elvira and Partner were eccellent and so helpfull. The Park staff were all excellent. The Beach was fabulous for swimming and very long walks. There were plenty of things to do and some of the restaurants were great as well the spicy Thai a standout

Parked up here with our campervan for one night. Very friendly, helpful staff. Cyclone Jasper was close by so power went out just after dark, staff very helpful and reassuring guests through this and in providing advice on travelling onwards in lieu of the potential cyclone. Power restored after a few hours! Great amenities, plenty of showers/toilets for size of park kept in great condition.

This was the most outstanding Caravan Park. We had a beautiful site plenty of shade and peace and quiet. We watched the Cassowary wonder through peacefully. The amenities are clean and the staff warm and friendly. Elvira went out of her way making our stay the best experience we have had. I would strongly suggest a visit here. The location is stunning and the park and people AAA. We will be back ASAP 🦋💙

The park is overpriced at $67 a night when competitors in the same area are $10 cheaper per night. In the two weeks we were there, the park went through extensive construction work with concreting, campsite repair and footpath/road repair. This all brought obvious disruption and noise to the guests. The restaurant/cafe was very expensive and sold what we considered subclass meals. Many of the sites needed sand fill-in and were literally bog holes. I understand park maintenance is required but when the park is in a condition like this, guest should be pre-warned and/or the site fees should be lowered accordingly. We have stayed here before several times, but this time was very disappointing. The pool is good, location is good and the staff were very good, in particular Alvera.

My wife and I with my daughter and her three children stayed in en-suite cabins here and gave a great time. The newly renovated cabins are very, very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The restaurant/cafe serves great food and coffee and the staff are helpful and very friendly. I am happy to rate this park very highly
