Clean rooms, very friendly staff, and the ambiance of the lobby is very welcoming. We stayed for a convention and were there 4 nights. After the first night, even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the housekeeping left us a bag of extra towels outside our door and that ended up being SO helpful! I love staying here and look forward to going again next year.

Ich war an einer Konferenz im Century Center, die mit dem Hotel verbunden ist. Ich war hier vorhin und wusste, in die unterirdische Parkgarage von der N Michigan Street hinter dem Hotel zu ziehen. Die Decke war verrückt gering! Pass auf, wenn Sie ein großes Fahrzeug haben oder eine konvertierbare haben (wie ich - Oops oben runter!!). Parkplätze sind sehr eng und Dinge sind schwer zu manövrieren im Allgemeinen. Nach der Ankunft war das Front Desk Personal super freundlich und hilfreich. Checkin war schnell und sie erklärten den Parkplatz sofort. Ich fand das Hotel ein wenig aufzuschlagen. Gemälde-Schüsseln auf den Wänden, Liftknopfen fehlen, Gürtel gedreht, und einige Fitnessgeräte funktionieren nicht. Needs some love. Oh, und es gibt Tonnen von Werbung und Vorausschreiben über hot cookies 🍪, aber sie müssen versteckt worden sein, weil ich sie nie gesehen habe und sie nie erwähnt wurden, wenn wir ankamen. Hmmmm... Allerdings war das Zimmer sauber und sehr komfortabel. Hatte einige Probleme mit dem AC, aber fand, wenn ich es so niedrig wie es ging (60), blieb es rund 67 in der Nacht. Verkauf/Eis war auf jedem Stock durch die Aufzüge, so super bequem! Das Zimmer Kühlschrank war extra kalt - einige meiner Dinge gefroren. Großer Desktopraum und WiFi. Die Navigation vom Hotel zur Konferenzanlage über den Skywalk war skizzy. Eine Überfahrt zum Skywalk war kein Problem. Aber wenn Sie in das Century Center eintreten, gibt es keine klare Signatur, um herauszufinden, wo Sie gehen. Das Fitnesscenter sah großartig aus! Aber es gibt keine AC und die Fans, die sie hatten, wurden gebrochen. Es war dort steif, auch nur für einen Spaziergang. Einige der Geräte waren aus der Ordnung, aber nicht als solche markiert. Ugh. Jedenfalls ein paar Tipps: 1) Ich empfehle, ein Flussblickzimmer zu erhalten. Zimmer, die den Atrium übersehen, sind laut. 2) Vermeiden Sie den 2. Stock - es ist, wo der Himmelswalk ist und der Halle kann laut sein. 3) Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr AC vor Entpackung ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. 4) Wenn Sie sich vor der Konferenz, stellen Sie sicher, wie Sie die Skywalk und das Century Center zu Navigation in der Zeit. 5) Wenn Sie die Verwendung des Fitnesszentrums planen, bringen Sie eine Wasserflasche, Handtuch, Handsanitär, und planen, zu schwitzen!

Excellent stay, the hotel still looks new, our room was clean, comfortable and the a/c was not loud (sometimes the on and off all evening is so loud at some places). Lesley was so kind and really made us feel welcome. Yes there is a parking fee, as I see a lot of comments about it on the reviews. That’s just the way it goes in some places. I also saw comments about the rooms being smaller compared to other Embassy Suites, that is the case. We weren’t traveling with kids so it was fine for the two of us in a King Suite, last time we stayed at an ES with two kids and it was the typical larger room we have experienced. This would have been manageable but tight. Also the kids are younger, would have been tight with like two teenagers. But I can’t speak to the 2Q room so perhaps it’s larger. Yes, they do have breakfast buffet style but staff serves it to you. I prefer that way, they were professional and wearing gloves. I don’t want a bunch of strangers using their hands with the tongs over and over and breathing directly on the food I’m about to eat. I saw they were giving hearty portions and asked for a smaller amount when it was my turn and a bit more of another item and they were very accommodating. One thing that I wish was different, you can approach the bathroom from the bedroom and living room which is great, but the light for the bathroom is next to the living room door but not another one by the bedroom entrance. I wish it had two as it was hard to navigate in the dark without using my phone for light. Just a small thing but would be nice.

Great location. But be aware: you cannot set your room's HVAC fan to always on. I like doing that to drown out noise while sleeping. You typically can do this in virtually all hotels, except this one for some reason. (And this is a relatively new hotel, built in 2010 and still in excellent condition. ) All the controls will allow you to do is to set the fan speed to Hi or Low, when the thermostat activates the unit. So, when the heat or AC cycles on, WHOOOSH!, it makes a loud sound, enough to wake everyone in the room. Your only alternative to get a decent night's rest is to shut off the HVAC unit and use your iPhone to play some YouTube background noise for 8 hours. Secondly, the non-continental options for breakfast are microwave turkey sausage or bacon with egg/cheese sandwiches. I have to say, they're heavily processed and so full of chemicals they have a weird dull flavor and aftertaste. Marriott needs to do better. *****Last thing: they charge you $11 per night for parking.

While the lobby was beautiful, and the aesthetics are nice- the bed was super uncomfortable. Parking was across the street, and absolutely ridiculous price for the small town of SB. $22 a night? Give me a break South Bend. Noise from the street was constant, and very loud. We were awake most of the night. My favorite moment that let me know we would not return was when a food delivery driver drove down the sidewalk, necessitating people trying to use the sidewalk for walking to have to get out of the way. Pass on South Bend downtown.

So komfortabel und sehr sauber, das Personal war sehr bereit, mir zu helfen, ein Zimmer zu bekommen. Dies war ein letzter Besuch und ich hatte kein Zimmer. Genießen Sie die Lobby-Zone und Rohrs Restaurant war auch sehr gemütlich. Sie haben ein sehr komfortabeles und einladendes Hotel und ist super bequem zu allem im Campus. Parkplatz ist einfach und das Personal und schnell zu Ihrer Ankunft zu helfen.
