Check in was fast and efficient. We signed up for the all inclusive plan and they made us sign a meal plan contract. A signed contract - who does that??? It was even brought up again by out butler when we got to our top of the line villa. As part of the ”contract ” our plan did not start until 3pm. We arrived around noon so if we wanted to eat or drink we would have to pay extra. OK let's get past that. When we checked in we were informed that breakfast was included but we paid for all inclusive so we got nothing extra. We were also told we were eligible for a free room upgrade but since we booked and paid for the highest villa level no upgrade was possible. So let me get this straight. Someone who booked and paid for a lesser level accommodation gets upgraded to the same level I paid full price. And I get what????? Ok. Moving on. We are staying in villa 709. I can only speak to this villa. It is a WOW!!! Nice size living room area with a fold out couch so the unit could comfortably sleep 4. There are 2 bathrooms large walk in closet. The master bath is a shower room separate toilet room and room with tub and 2 sinks. Outside is an under cover patio an uncovered deck with lounge chairs a lower deck with lounge chairs a d a plunge pool. The villas are in the mountains so you will rely a the shuttle service. It runs frequently and we rarely had to wait long for a ride. All the restaurants are good. The high end one Saltwood is not included in the meal plans but they give a credit towards your meal there that more than covers the cost. The butler service for us was not needed. We pre booked all our dinner reservations in advance so other than occasional call us a can they were not needed. The beach is nice. Note if you stay in one of the beach bungalows you will have people sitting right in front of you room. There is a li e of stone / pebbles to get in and out of the water. A little annoying but tolerable. Pool is great. Service at the beach was good for food and drinks. At the pool it was hit or moss. Sometimes great sometimes so great. All in all a nice resort. All of the staff are very friendly. And the food is very good to great. If you go to Saltwood do the steak tasting sampler. Yummm
