"Nettes Personal. Neue Inneneinrichtung. Bequemes Bett. Starke Klimaanlage. Kleines Badezimmer. Normaler Straßen-/Verkehrslärm an den Vorderseiten, aber der Ventilator der Klimaanlage hat das überdeckt. Mein Zimmer hatte hohe Dachfenster mit Gardinen und Vorhängen, die an einer lauten Kette hochgezogen wurden. Kein Verdunkelungseffekt. Offenes Fenster sorgte für gute Belüftung. Ausgiebiges Frühstück mit Schwerpunkt auf nordeuropäischen Speisen."

Tolles Zimmer, super Personal, toller Spa-Bereich, wirklich gute Massage, leckere Drinks und super Personal an der Bar, unglaubliches Frühstück (und das Frühstückspaket für uns, die wir sehr früh abgereist sind, war super). Wir kommen wieder! :)"

Baltica Residence

"I definitely don't recommend staying at the Baltica Residence (BR) or Villa Baltica (VB). I've stayed at the BR several times in the past and found it to be a solid budget option. Unfortunately, these days, they should be avoided. I booked a Deluxe Room. Upon check-in, I asked if the room I was assigned matched my reservation. The receptionist confirmed it. Upon arrival, I found the room significantly smaller than advertised and lacked the additional two-seater sofa and table, which are standard amenities in this room category (I always chose a Deluxe Room at BR). Furthermore, the room was very dirty, and the bathroom radiator hadn't been wiped down in at least six months. After reporting the issue to the VB reception, I was informed that they were "slightly overbooked" and could offer me another room, even a higher category, at the Villa Baltica, a different hotel than the one I booked. I asked to speak to a manager, but the manager couldn't explain the situation. What's more, she tried to convince me that the lower-class room was essentially a Deluxe Room, minus the sofa. This was absurd. The front desk staff was rude and dishonest, which further worsened my stay. I ended up staying in a substandard Villa Baltica apartment. I strongly recommend against this hotel."

"The hotel is right next to the entrance to the Forest Opera, a 10-minute walk from Monciak. Located in the forest, and although almost in the city center, it's peaceful and quiet. A small parking lot is included in the room rate. The over 100-year-old building has a very interesting appearance and a pleasant atmosphere. Quick check-in with the very friendly gentleman at reception and the elevator takes you to the apartment. The apartment isn't just about the name. It's spacious, with tall windows spanning the entire width of the room, stylish furniture, a large table with chairs, a sofa, and a fireplace. Next to it is a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower, a separate toilet, and a spacious bedroom with a large, very comfortable bed. Firewood, a refrigerator, warm radiators, two small TVs, free internet, and bathroom amenities are provided. The lack of a kettle or coffee corner is somewhat surprising. The sauna is worth a visit; there are two to choose from. The breakfast is varied, tasty, and fresh. Scrambled eggs are served beautifully upon request. After breakfast, it's worth taking a 10-minute walk to a nearby viewpoint to admire the surroundings. If you could extend your stay longer, that would be ideal."

"Etwas enttäuscht. Abgesehen von der hervorragenden Lage ist der Rest eher durchschnittlich. Das Zimmer war nicht besonders gemütlich, und auch der Gemeinschaftsbereich wirkte nicht einladend. Der Service hingegen war einwandfrei. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut geeignet, aber nicht unvergesslich."
