Det som trakk ned var lange køer til frokost og bråk fra restaurant rett bak med bråk frem til 0330 om morningen

Sehr netter Service an der Rezeption wie auch im Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind sauber, mein Bad war etwas klein, als Alleinreisender aber zu verkraften. Mein Zimmer befand sich nach hintenheraus. Leider wurde es Nachts durch die dortigen Bars und Restaurants sehr laut, einmal Karaoke bis um 3:20 Uhr. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Ebenso das Abendbüffet. Vor allem das "Livi cooking" und das Nachspeisenbüffet sind hervorzuheben. Für Wandertouren liegt das Hotel optimal. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bzgl. Getränke ist sehr gut.

Five of us across 2 rooms enjoyed a great week’s skiing. Hotel was clean and comfortable and food was really good. Buffet was always something new and the kids always found something they liked. The locker room was spacious but the kids found the walk to the gondola a bit of a hassle in ski boots, so consider hiring a locker at the station for the week, was around 60 euros for a larger one (bit of a squeeze for 5 of us!) Back at the hotel all of the staff were really kind and helpful and helped to make our stay memorable. If we visit Soldeu again we would stay here again.

Really good hotel, spotlessly clean, very friendly helpful staff, great selection of good tasty food and beer! Would have been 5 stars but unfortunately the street level of the the hotel building is given to commercial premises, one of which is a very noisy bar called the Harp, our room was on the 3rd floor and the noise was at times very annoying and this went on until 1:30 am. No fault of the hotel but a shame.

Great grill service from Camilo. From the crepes and omelettes at breakfast to the grilled meats for dinner, excellent quality and service. Food was very good. Fresh bread and beautiful desserts. Excellent coffee. Good wine selection from Spain.

Just had another fabulous week at this hotel. Great location, about 5 minutes walk from the gondola, fabulous staff, good food, and nice rooms. Well located for the bars and shops too. We will be back next year, which will be our 9th visit! One of my happy places.

The room was very nice with a coffee machine and stocked fridge and everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was excellent and had the most powerful shower I've ever had in a hotel, anywhere in the world. The only let down for the holiday was the food. The choices and variations were excellent but nothing was ever hot. Unless that is , you join the queue for the freshly cooked, choice of the day, on the griddle, cooked for you, in front of you. you then had to go back to the buffet for luke-warm, often cold, vegetables. We ate there three times but went out to the local restaurants to eat. In future we will only book breakfast. (And then, only the omelettes off the griddle and the toast was hot!) Overall, a beautifully presented Hotel with excellent facilities and extremely helpful, polite and attentive staff. We would happily return but choose the local restaurants to eat our evening meals.

The good bits are...beds super comfortable, staff lovely, lots of variety in the buffet for all tastes, location to village shops and bars and skiing great.... and free lockers for ski stuff in the basement, but take a padlock... What could be better?... the spa is not part of the deal (10 euros pp) ...it should be included as not good enough to charge tbh... jacuzzi is not hot enough plus not really relaxing as children are allowed... get your clock fixed if you want guests to be an hour, and the water machine too please....we were in a family room at the top of the hotel and so hot as other guests have found too, but next to some sort of ventilation shaft so difficult with noise versus windows open, plus night time revellers at 4am can be heard from the local bars unless windows shut. All in all, if you are out skiing all day, this hotel is a great location ( very family friendly so lots of kids around in the lounge area) to enjoy the slopes and only 4 hours transfer away from Barcelona.

Excellent location in terms if the ski hire and gondola up to the slopes which are 5 minutes walk away. We were on full board and it's a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Unless you're there as the restaurant opens at 7 everything gets pretty cold pretty quickly. There's literally a microwave for the guests to use to heat the food up. The staff are great and there's a good selection of food, it's just not great quality and mostly cold.
