Hotels mit Frühstück in Sogndal

This is a nice hotel in Sognal. It is very centrally located right along a nice creek and near everything in town. The layout is a little weird. If you park in the back in the parking garage (which you have to pay for) you have to walk around the parking lot, up a ramp, through the restaurants, and into the lobby. There is a really old wing and a new wing. Our rooms were in the new wing. The larger restaurant only serves tour groups. The smaller restaurant is open to all guests but has a much more limited menu. The rooms were very comfortable and mine had a nice patio door with a view of the creek and mountains.

L’accueil est bon. Dans l’entrée, on découvre de grandes pièces avec déjà de grands fauteuils en cuir sur lesquels il est possible de se reposer. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée se trouve à l’étage, à l’extrémité du bâtiment par rapport à la rue. Sie ist überraschend. Zunächst handelt es sich um ein sehr großes Stück, mit mehreren Lederstühlen ausgestattet, mit einem anderen Bett einen Platz und ein Originalmöbel. Es gibt Fenster über die gesamte Länge des Raums, die sich mit großen Vorhängen verstecken Die Aussicht gibt über den Fjord. An der Fußseite des Bettes gibt es einen großen Fernsehstation, der sich in Richtung des Wohnzimmers wandert und an diesem gebunden ist, einen kleineren, auf den Bettkopf gerichteten Fernsehstation. Das Badezimmer ist groß und behaglich. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und wir haben in der Nacht keinen Lärm gehört. Das Frühstück, das in der großen Speisesaal des Hotels stattfindet, ist gut geliefert. Ein wenig weniger wahrscheinlich als die anderen Hotels, die wir hatten. Wir haben nicht im Hotel gegessen, aber das ist möglich. Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten, schnell zu essen in der Nähe des Hotels. Wir haben uns für den Café-Bar Dampskipskaien am Rande des Fjords, 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Sympathique, on y trouve beaucoup de jeunes. Ce n'est pas un véritable restaurant. A noter une sélection de bière originale. Avec une voiture, il est possible de vous garer devant l'hôtel ou sur le côté, voire dans les rues voisines. Der Parkplatz gehört nicht zum Hotel und ist somit zahlend, zum häufigsten Preis in Norwegen (weniger als 2 % pro Stunde), aber nur am Tag. Es ist kostenlos von 17:00 bis 8:00 Uhr morgens. Wir haben nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht. C’est une arrête agréable avant d’entamer une journée, par exemple en partant en ferry à Kaupanger (l’embarcation est vraiment tout près et on peut voir une belle église en bois juste avant d’y arriver).

We spent two nights in a one bedroom cottage here and we very satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything a visitor could need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting accommodation options that were the most useful to us rather than what we would pay most for. The resort is very conveniently placed for exploring local fjords, mountains etc. It's great for families, offering a warm pool and a large playing area with complicated climbing structures, inflatables, slides and play houses for children to enjoy.

This hotel is charming. I had read reviews that were not very good, so did not have high expectations. The hotel surpassed them all and we enjoyed our stay. First, the hotel is very clean. Our room was spotless and the bathroom immaculate (it also appeared to have been recently redone with new white tile and modern fixtures). The room was small but had a great balcony and fjord view. The downstairs is very comfortable and well appointed. It has multiple sitting areas, each with a slightly different feel, and all are very enjoyable spaces to relax and watch the day go by. You can see the fjord from all. The outdoor space in the back is also nice and on a warmer day we would have enjoyed sitting outside in a chair. They have both rowboats that can be used to explore the fjord and bikes that can be used for exploring the town. The pool was clean. The hotel is an old building, but it does appear to have been updated inside (downstairs at least) within the past few years. We took the 7 am ferry so missed breakfast, but we were able to get a cup of coffee at 6 a.m. from the woman at the front desk, which was much appreciated. We had stayed at one of the larger hotels in town at the beginning of our trip, and of the two I much preferred the Hofslund. It is both a nice hotel and has a very authentic vibe. I would stay here again.
