Die Wohnung im Ferienhaus ist sauber, die Umgebung ist sauber, die gesamte Palette ist komplett, Sie können kochen, das Zimmer ist sehr groß, es gibt einen Tisch, Auf der anderen Seite gibt es einen Markt, von den beiden U-Bahn-Stationen entfernt, ein wenig von der Straße zu Fuß,

Was sich hier ab gespielt hat ist nicht zu glauben. Ich dachte ich bin im falschen Film. Aufgrund des Lärm der Klimanlage, welche auch ausgeschalten schlaflose Nächte und bei genereller Anwesenheit nicht auszuhalten ist, wollte ich das Zimmer wechseln. Achtung es geht los, man gab mir ein anderes Zimmer und half mit mir meinen Sachen und bevor wir gingen fragte ich dem Pagen, ob das Problem da auch bestünde, nein. Also zogen wir um. Ich habe eine sehr starke Erkältung und es strengte mich generell alle sehr an! Im Zimmer angekommen gleiches Problem. Wieder neues Zimmer. Gleiches Problems. Einer von Rezeption kam und zeigte weitere Zimmer aber da fehlte dann Der Schreibtisch und dafür kein Lärm. 7 Zimmer Später war ich ich in einem neuen Zimmer mit gleichen Problem. Ich fragte, ob sie mich verarschen wollen, warum ich dann erst umgezogen bin? Keine Antwort. Sorry! 2,5h Stunden später erbarmte sich dann der Manager mit ein Zimmer direkt neben meinen Alten zu geben. Der Lärm war weg aber die Temperatur auf 23 grad fixiert und diese ändern zu können. Alles gute an meine Erkältung. Ich checkte aufgrund dieser Vorkommnisse und dem generellen Verhalten des Management und Rezeptionisten 3 Tage vorher aus. So etwas ist mir ein Leben lang noch nicht vorgekommen. Asozial sogar! Ich hatte ca 200 plus x 5 Sterne Aufenthalte bis dato, dies als Nebeninfo! Selbstverständlich wollte man mir keinen Cent rückerstatten aufgrund non-refundable Rate. Das sind sie zu 99% wenn man bereits eingecheckt hat und freiwillig abreist!!!!

Auf den Hauptstraßen zwischen dem Busbahnhof und dem Stadtzentrum liegt es innerhalb von Fußabstand. Es ist sehr bequem vor der U-Bahn-Station zu bewegen. Es gibt mehrere Supermärkte in der Nähe. Die Voreinstellungen im Café-Veranstaltungsmenü umfassen Frühstück. Sehr lecker, aber es dauert Zeit. Als ich früh am Morgen weg war, bereitete er einen Mittagessenstuhl (vorausgehende Anfrage). Bequeme Tee.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, 500 m von der Punch Bridge entfernt, die Zimmerdekoration ist alt. Restaurant und Service sind in Ordnung.

Als wir ankamen, um im Hotel zu parken, sollten wir wissen, wo wir parken und wohin wir gehen sollten. Dies machte die ersten 15 Minuten unerträglich. Uns wurde bei vielen Gelegenheiten gesagt, nicht hier. Bitte geben Sie in Zukunft positive Anweisungen. Das Hotel selbst war nach dem schlechten Anfang ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit einem guten Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Obwohl meine Frau das Bett und die Kissen als unbequem empfand, tat ich es nicht. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und der Essbereich war geräumig. BITTE BITTE BITTE bringt jemand dem Koch bei, ein Ei zu braten. Egal, ob Sie es vorziehen, ob es sich um leichtes, umgedrehtes oder hartes Eigelb handelt, alle Eier hatten einen fantastisch verbrannten Plastikrock. TIPP Verwenden Sie die richtige Ölsorte, drehen Sie die Hitze nicht so hoch, lassen Sie das Öl warm werden, bevor das Ei hineingeht, und verwenden Sie keine eiskalten Eier. Das Hotel organisierte Taxis für uns und diese waren ausgezeichnet.

I've never stayed anywhere else in Sofia so cannot comment on whether this is great for Sofia, but international 4* standard, it isn't. Most of the staff are lovely, apart from the member of staff who decided one evening that we were not allowed to have a glass of wine in the lobby bar because the bottle of wines were ”reserved” and ”for show” (the excuse changing from one minute to the next.) He couldn't explain who or why they were reserved or for show. The room servicing is, *interesting*. They say in the information in the room that the rooms are serviced daily. On the first day it wasn't serviced at all. The second, I asked it to be serviced and the towels replaced which they did but then (not joking) they screwed up the cover on the bed and put it in the corner, made half an effort to pull up the duvet, emptied a bin and did nothing else. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room is a real plus but they were not refreshed / refilled during our stay either, even when the room was ”serviced”. The bed was comfortable but one of those fit together beds rather than a true king size. It was huge but possible to get a bit caught in the middle. That said though, we didn't struggle with noise as other people did. The breakfast is fine. Typical central European type stuff and not the best quality but fresh fruit is always welcome. If it's a choice between room only at a cheaper price, I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it though. The door lock was a bit temperamental. It's worth checking it's genuinely locked behind you as ours didn't unless we carefully engaged the catch. There are safes though. The lifts were a bit dodgy as well. One obviously breaking down from time to time during our stay and be warned you need your room card to go up or down. Location wise it's superb and I'm not saying I wouldn't stay there again but for the price, which is not cheap for Sofia, the service needs a bit of an uplift. Also some attention to detail in the rooms would be good with a slight tear in the voile, wallpaper lifting etc. For British visitors though as this hotel is part of a Cooperative organisation, they have pictures of the first Rochdale COOP in some of the corridors. A funny little quirk if you know Rochdale. It's not the place you'd choose to decorate anywhere.

Gute Punkte: - Le personnel parle anglais et est accueillant. - Literie confortable. - Possibilité de laisser nos bagages à l’hôtel après le Check-out. - Sécurité emplacement. - Se trouve à proximité du centre. Schlechte Punkte: - Wir hatten die schlechte Überraschung, dass wir bei unserem Aufenthalt einen toten Kammern wieder gefunden haben. - Kleines Bad und nicht praktisch. Außerdem war es voll von Feuchtigkeit und wir hatten keine Seife zur Verfügung. - La mousse était omniprésente sur le plancher et les murs. - Chambre bruyante (passage des avions). - Prises de courant très hautes et difficiles d'accès. - Beaucoup d'araignes au plafond. Zusammenfassend, die negativen Punkte haben leider einen Vorteil auf die positiven Punkte, was unsere Bemerkung von 2/5 rechtfertigt.

The hotel is located on Vitosha Boulevard and is well placed for the numerous bars and restaurants to be found on the long pedestrian *****. It's also within walking distance of all the main sights and guided tour start points. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and the bed was very comfortable. The majority of the staff were very helpful, especially Nikolai on the Reception Desk and the dark haired waitress in the restaurant (I didn't get her name). The one negative is that the breakfast options are rather limited and the breakfast waitress was grumpy and rude (although Nicolai picked up on this and had a word with her) - that's why I've given 4/5 as opposed to 5/5.

Zimmer - sauber, geräumig, gut gekühlt bei der Hitze von 28 und mehr.” Frühstück - abwechslungsreich, nicht immer frisch in Bezug auf Gemüse und Obst. Sehr gut im Stadtzentrum gelegen - viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich habe einen unvergesslichen und angenehmen Aufenthalt im Grand Hotel Sofia wirklich genossen.
