We had excellent service from Supriya and the other staff who were so friendly and helpful. Supriya even put an extra bed into the room as we had a last minute child to accommodate so that was really kind of her. I would just say that the pillows were incredibly hard so it would be good to have some softer ones please! And it was a very noisy location with air conditioning units next door going all night. But Supriya and your lovely staff made up for that - they were sooooo lovely.

The Pinewood Hotel is a housing estate waiting to happen. From staff lacking in the most basic of customer service skills to a cute rat routing about under the fake Christmas tree pinned in the flower bed outside the entrance. This hotel was almost empty on one of the busiest weekends of the year for the king's concert. They couldn't find our booking and refused to acknowledge the paid-for email from booking.com. They made no attempt whatsoever to help whilst I spent an hour on the phone trying to get it sorted. But as they had hiked sub £80 pricing most of the year to £300 plus, their revenue-raising exercise backfired big time. During my time getting increasingly annoyed at the absolute lack of any attempt at customer service, I got to see the poorly mended ceiling from upstairs leaks, the dated decor, and the cracked flooring tiles in the main reception. As well as filthy signs on the windows at the main entrance. The lift is obviously expected to be out of use for some time as they had turned it into a feature with a light-up unit in front stopping you from getting in. That was if you got past the empty car park with a huge hole surrounded by metal barriers, cracked containers for dying plants, and the delivery driver bringing food to the sole inhabitant we saw. The 70s pub-style dining area was totally empty, and the outside area overlooking a lovely meadow area was shabby and despite sunshine - absolutely devoid of any guests.. The welcome was marred by a pervading smell of cooking oil and as you walk from the car park to the entrance, a window at the back of the reception area has an unusual way of blocking people from seeing in with a collection of tesco carrier bags instead of a curtain. Pictures on various sites are of an era long gone - add appalling service and you can do much better elsewhere. I would be surprised if it lasts much longer as a hotel. This hotel clearly doesn't want guests and will make a great housing development for anyone looking at developing in that area. It has a fabulous selection of wildlife, from various colourful birds making nests, to furry creatures running around outside the entrance, so it would be a beautiful spot for a development. Having read some of the other reviews saying ”filthy” ”easy to get away from” ”tired” ”drinks terribly expensive” ”electrical testing 4 year's out of date” ”outside door propped open all night” ”practically falling apart” - I guess we got away lightly. What it isn't is - their description: A 4* hotel (REALLY?) Luxurious setting (I TOTALLY DISAGREE stained reception ceiling badly mended with no luxury at all) in a tranquil location (Yes agreed) Designed with elegant interiors and a unique approach (maybe once upon a time but not now) Just off the A412 ( erm just on the A412) The Brasserie provides an informal dining experience (looks like a 70s cafe and guests ordered takeaway) Free car parking (yep lots of it was almost empty and more space was taken by a huge

What a lovely welcoming homely hotel. I went alone on a business trip and the owner was so welcoming friendly and helpful. The room was perfect size for just myself with everything I could need, a very comfy bed, ample workspace and a tv to relax with. Breakfast in the morning g was always served with a smile and was delicious every time. Very convenient area for food nearby with some really tasty options only walking distance. And a nice park and green area just five minutes walk away too. Also if you like fishing Farnham is very nearby 😉 I cannot thank everyone enough for making my stay so delightful especially the owner. Should I travel to Slough again for work or pleasure this is where I’d want to stay.

Es ist eine Autostunde von der Stadt entfernt und viele Reisegruppen entscheiden sich für einen Aufenthalt hier. Das Zimmer ist sehr durchschnittlich. Bei der Buchung wurde gezeigt, dass es einen kleinen Kühlschrank gibt, aber tatsächlich ist dieser nicht vorhanden! Wir checkten bei meiner Tochter ein, aber unerwartet wurde uns ein Zustellbett gegeben. Die Klimaanlage durfte nicht heiß sein, daher war die Steppdecke auf dem Zustellbett praktisch. Das Wasser im Badezimmer lief sehr langsam ab, bevor ich mit dem Baden fertig war. Mineralwasser, Hausschuhe und Toilettenartikel sind im Zimmer nicht vorhanden. Sie müssen Ihren eigenen Adapter für die Steckdose im Zimmer mitbringen. Neben dem Waschbecken befindet sich eine Steckdose, die mit Ladesteckern für Apple-Handys verwendet werden kann. In der Nähe des Waschbeckens besteht Angst vor Wasser. Achten Sie daher bitte auf die Sicherheit wenn man es benutzt! Das Frühstück kann man nur als sättigend bezeichnen. Ob es schmeckt oder nicht, hängt vom persönlichen Geschmack ab. Die Frühstückszeit ist von 6:30 bis 10:30 Uhr.

Breakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!

Maidenhead Travelodge is value for money. The rooms on the 5th floor were well maintained, clean and had comfy beds. What made our stay so good was the high level of friendly customer service at reception. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Only draw back is there is a bit of noise until 11 pm when the neighbouring pub closes- but after that it is a good nights rest. The double glazed windows and block out blinds also help for a good rest.

Schließlich handelt es sich um eine Budgetlinie, daher kann man nicht zu viele Einrichtungen verlangen. Allerdings muss man an der Rezeption nach einem Haartrockner fragen, was etwas umständlich ist. Ansonsten entspricht es den Erwartungen und der Positionierung. In dem Zimmer, in dem ich wohnte, ließ sich das Fenster überhaupt nicht öffnen, und es war etwas stickig. Ich weiß nicht, ob das eine Ausnahme oder üblich ist. Als ich eincheckte, stand tatsächlich ein A6L der heimischen Marke auf dem Parkplatz. Was für ein Krieger ...

Lage: nur vom Autobahn entfernt, aber bequem zu Restaurants. Ruhige und friedliche Umgebung. Einchecken / Auschecken und Personal: Wir hatten eine schnelle, effiziente und freundliche Einchecken, und Auschecken dauerte weniger als eine Minute. Sie servieren Abendessen- ein begrenztes Menü- aber es hat uns gerettet, etwas zu essen zu fahren. Parkplatz: Um den Rücken, so nicht sofort offensichtlich, aber keine Probleme. Zimmer: Updated, gute WiFi, Mit großem TV und vielen Kanälen verfügbar. Sauber und komfortabel. Frühstück: Sehr große Auswahl an warmen und kalten Lebensmitteln. Wi-Fi: Geschwindigkeit war gut. Bleiben Sie wieder? Sicherlich.

Ausgezeichnete Zeit, warme saubere große Zimmer schön aussehen und stilvolle Bett komfortable weiche Kissen, schöne große Dusche alle sauberes warmes Wasser große weiche Handtücher. Keller Bar war leicht zu einem tollen Essen zu kommen und die Band war groß mit einer wirklich schüchternen Atmosphäre der Nachtclub war zu einfach Musik zu tanzen. Leicht zu meinem Zimmer am Ende der Nacht zurück. Es gab eine Lady namens Laura, die immer die Damen und Böden überprüfte, um sicher zu sein, alles war sicher, sie hat sogar die Löwenrollen oben! Alles das Personal war wirklich freundlich und es war so eine angenehme Erfahrung. Am nächsten Morgen besuchte ich den Spa, der wirklich großartig war mit Pool, Dampf und Sauna etc plus Fitnessbereich alle Technogym-Ausstattung. Dann ein volles englisches Frühstück gab es eine gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln alle warm und schmeckt. Das Personal war gut organisiert sauber Tische usw. Gut das Geld für alle Arten von Gruppen und Familien, die bleiben würde ich dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen. Danke und Sie bald wiedersehen!
