Wir hatten einen unglaublichen Urlaub in den Vila Riva Apartments. Die Aussicht von unserem Studio-Apartment war wie ein Gemälde (siehe Foto). Es liegt direkt im Zentrum des Dorfes, wo es einige ausgezeichnete Restaurants gibt, ein Café, das das unglaublichste Eis und die besten Kuchen sowie Burger usw. verkauft. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, von wo aus man eine halbe Stunde nach Dubrovnik braucht und für 2 Personen etwa 7 € zahlt. Wir hatten sogar eine Waschmaschine im Studio-Apartment und Fußbodenheizung im Duschraum. Die Sauberkeit der Anlage außen und innen war tadellos. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We had a spacious family apartment on the ground floor. Ample private parking. The grounds were well maintained and immaculate as was our apartment. The apartment was well equipped and the beds were comfortable with great air conditioning. One of our bedrooms was overlooking the street which could be rather noisy when cruise ships docked and they had live bands out the front literally opposite our bedroom. Fortunately the music was very entertaining. The apartments are with walking distance of several good beaches and restaurants. The swimming pool isn’t massive but it is kept incredibly clean and is of a high standard. The at the around the pool is very relaxing with views of the church and surrounding hills. I would advise having a car to explore the local area. We would recommended staying here and had a great family holiday with our two children.

We have stayed at some lovely 5 star hotels but we loved loved loved these apartments. Location fabulous, has everything you need for a small village location. We caught the bus to Dubrovnik I think around 11 euros for 3 adults but we caught a taxi back and negotiated a fare of 65 euros with was pricy but it’s around 34k away and a 45 min journey hence price. 2 x small supermarkets a couple of restaurants and a decent small bakery all within a few mins walk and reasonably priced as well. The pool area was quiet we always seemed to be the only ones in it for a refreshing dip (it was a bit cold) but refreshing. We will come back and maybe use as a base and hire a car next time as personally I think you need one.

We had a fantastic stay here, it was perfect!! Very spacious apartments and beautifully clean. Helpful and welcoming staff and in a lovely location. The pool was beautiful we had it to ourselves on many occasions, a very relaxing and calm atmosphere. I slept on a pull out bed as we went as a family and it was so comfortable!! The air con was so nice to have too and made us comfortable in the hot weather. We loved it here and I hope to come back In the future. The only thing that may be useful is a toaster in the room.

Spotlessly clean apartments with everything you need for your stay. The surroundings are gorgeous and so well maintained. Couldn't fault our stay. Thankyou. Apartments are located 2 doors from a a small shop selling fresh bread and essentials. There are 2 local restaurants and a mini supermarket. Slano it's self is gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. Good public transport with buses and we used Ubers which took about 35 minutes to get to Old Town Dubrovnik which was fabulous. Will be back :)

Fantastic, beautiful location and apartments were spotless and stunning balcony and lovely pool. Slano is a lovely little village with boat trips departing directly from harbour next to apartments. Bus to Dubrovnik also on your doorstep.9

I stayed here for five nights and am so glad I came home to stay here. The last time I had walked through the front door of this building was with a shovel and a wheelbarrow 30 years ago. What they have done with this place is nothing short of perfect. Beautifully restored with 12 apartments. The quality and craftsmanship here is remarkable. The stairs alone receive comments from guests. There is a landscaped garden to the rear that would suit a wedding reception, and then there is the heated pool. Everything about the Vila Riva Apartments is perfect. The building is perfect, the grounds are perfect, the four ladies who look after this place every morning - they are perfect. It’s not the first time I’ve been to Slano and it most definitely won’t be the last.

Great place so nicely decorated and lovely area. Comfy beds and nice setting. Must have a car as quite out of the way and minimal restaurants out of season but they were good restaurants. Very good value

Slano is a small quiet town but with a bus service to Dubrovnik so there was enough for a week. There are small boats coming and going throughout the day. The apartment is very nice indeed, freshly fitted out with all the appliances you'd expect and more. Take a washing machine pod as that was not supplied. Nice bedding and good WiFi. There are two communal verandas off the first floor, large, well maintained grounds and a small but attractive pool. The staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. They didn't have recycling but we returned empty bottles to the little supermarket and found a recycling area just beyond the school for plastic bottles and cardboard. With a licence there is fishing from the tiny beach areas and lots of opportunities for walking and cycling - very scenic but hilly!
