Beste Wellnesshotels in Skopje

I have read a bunch of reviews of this “5-star” resort in Skopje — but only after our recent stay there — to see whether others experienced what we did at this dreadful hotel. I was surprised to see an average score of “very good” (four out of five). But then I read the numerous “poor” and “terrible” reviews. And they were all right on the money. Yes, it’s well located. And at first blush it looks like an upscale hotel. But on closer observation — and especially once you get to your room — you realize quickly that this is an awful place to stay. We were part of a large group, spread out in rooms throughout the hotel, and EVERYONE had major complaints about their rooms. And they were all different complaints, ranging from non-working AC, non-working hotel safes, inadequate towels and linens, etc. I will stick to what we experienced first-hand, but the others’ horror stories echo many of the problems described in other reviews on this site. Our problems started when it took getting a third key card even to get into the room. And it only went downhill from there. Yes, as others have noted, they only give you one towel per person. That’s it. No hand towels, no bath mats, but just two smallish bath towels. Then there were the weird strobe lights — one in the bathroom, one in the bedroom — that could only be turned off after much experimentation with switches. And the very few, awkwardly placed electrical outlets. And the bathroom from hell. Our particular room had an ancient bathtub, dangerous to get in and out of, with only a handheld wand with which to shower — which was set so low on the wall that you had to literally hold it at all times, making it extremely hard to wash one’s hair. And of course there’s the smooth, slippery floor to face getting out of the tub. Remember: No bath mats. There’s more, but you get the idea. Our room also faced the historic mosque next door, which flooded the room with light at night. And then there was the call to prayer at 4:30 in the morning. I think I’ve said enough.

Die Zimmer sind geräumig, auch wenn die Lichtschalter bisweilen verwirren, ist alles funktional gestaltet. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade auf eine Junior-Suite mit Balkon zum Innenhof. Das Frühstück im Distrikt-Restaurant überzeugt, der Spa-Bereich ist am Wochenende sehr frequentiert. Die Massage dort war außerordentlich gut. Die Lounge bietet zur Zeit nicht das volle Programm, so dass man pro Person 750-Denar-Voucher für das Restaurant erhält - ein fairer Deal. Was besonders herausragend ist, ist die Einstellung der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter: Man merkt, dass sie sich mit ihrer Arbeit identifizieren und stolz sind, hier zu arbeiten. Das gilt für den Trainee bis hin zum Manger on Duty. So erhält man einen persönlichen und herzlichen Service, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Großartig! I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding our recent experience with your hotel. Weeks ago, we made a reservation for a room at your establishment, and we were explicitly informed that the reservation was non-refundable and non-cancellable. We diligently planned our trip around this reservation, taking into consideration the policy that was communicated to us. However, just one hour before our planned arrival, while we were en route to your hotel via bus, we received a message notifying us that our reservation had been canceled and that there was no longer a room available for us. This sudden change left us in an incredibly difficult and inconvenient situation, as we found ourselves in Skopje in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay. This situation is unacceptable, and we are deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism and reliability displayed by your hotel. We had counted on your hotel for a place to rest during our stay in Skopje, and the last-minute cancellation has caused us significant inconvenience and discomfort. We urge you to review your reservation policies and improve your communication with guests. Such experiences can be highly detrimental to the reputation of your hotel. We expect a full refund for our canceled reservation and extra reimbursement for expenses related to booking a new room. We hope that you take steps to ensure this doesn't happen to other guests in the future.

It was my first time in this hotel and in Skopje. We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in a perfect area (suburbs on a hill above the city), with excellent view to the city. The room was very pleasant and perfect equipped (including coffee-machine). The breakfast is worthy for a 4* hotel, but what we actually enjoyed is our lunch as soon we arrived the first day, and although we were all around the city and the near-by areas, we had a dinner another day, because the plates and the menu were really delicious. A big surprise was also the bar, which we enjoyed 2 nights. All the cocktails I know were on the list and we enjoyed also several tasteful sweets. There are about 5-7 open parking slots for the car, but also more places in a indoor parking. Congratulations to all the stuff for his gentleness and willingness. The stuff is a great advantage of this hotel. It is quiet easy to go to city center (about 1 km), but the way-back is a big difficult (uphill). The taxis we had used hadn't a stable tariff, they charged between 2,5 and 5€ (the last one tried to charge us 10€ , but after our reactions, he reduced it to 5€). So be careful with the drivers, as they don't use a taximeter. If you are by car it is advisable to visit the mountain (lifts from the parking area) and the valley of Matka.

Absolut schönes Hotel, vor allem das Badezimmer. Personal sehr angenehm und das Essen ist ziemlich gut. Die A/C ist ein wenig von einem Rückzug , es sei denn, Sie löschen es ist auf 25 Grad festgelegt. Das Hotel ist sehr verschlossen, so dass Sie nicht in das Zimmer ein Brise erreichen können, indem Sie die Fenster öffnen. Das Hotel selbst ist buchstäblich 3 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hauptplatz, das sehr beeindruckend ist.
