It was a spacious room, nice and comfortable mattress. Although it is next to the main road, it was quiet at night.
Lovely view to the back, they call it river view. It is a cannel where had a lot of ducks, geese and swan swimming up and down.
A good place to stay.

We booked the hotel on an offer on Travelzoo, paying £129 we also paid an extra £10 for a canal view, which was worth every penny. The deal included a bottle of wine in the room £25 credit per person and breakfast. Yes the room is tired, especially the furniture, the towels were fab , so thick and big. We had no complaints with the menu and the food . But the view was the total winner for us. For the deal we bought we would definitely return.

Lovely stay for 2 days,had a canal side room 308 with beautiful views. Lovely Sunday dinner and evening meal in the conservatory. Spotless everywhere and super friendly staff from reception to the restaurant team,really enjoyed our stay and will return again

A lovely nights stay. Bar area really good and had entertainment on, dining room lovely, a very good breakfast watching the canal boats sail past. Our room was huge with living area separate bedroom and 2 (yes 2!!!) bathrooms. Bathrooms recently refurbished to a very high standard. The corridors are tired but still very clean. The pool area is really good too. Staff were very nice. Will definitely be back

Sadly not what it was …. Evening dinner was poor our starters still frozen in the middle , fresh ?? Service charge automatically added then bill emailed 😞 Buffet breakfast too long in the warming trays spoiled what was possibly nice ingredients

This was a lovely stay! The room was large and had everything we needed and the food and the service in the restaurant were excellent. There’s a nice atmosphere in the bar too and all of the decor is of a good standard with nice lighting. The walk along the towpath in to Skipton is an easy 20-25 minutes stroll.

Nice staff helpful polite and welcoming. Breakfast excellent value for money would make a return visit. Rooms ok bit dated, but clean, pillows not good but the view from the bedroom window makes up for that. Good location handy for all local visits and there is an Aldi just up the road if you want a sandwich as bar snacks finish early
