We really had a bad experience with this OYO 796 JR Hotel. Seriously not recommend at all. I managed my booking and fully paid via agoda website for one night MYR 50.76 . On the day itself, 4 Feb for check-in the reception did ask me to pay an additional cost of MYR36, as the reception said, it seems there's goes wrong with the hotel rate on website and they did not update it, they insisted me to pay more as i'm not agree with that kind of service that they're given. The receptionist did check on their system that this booking is under ******* which I only know that my booking from end to end is via agoda. I did ask the receptionist why this happen and the best way she only can say doesn't know and this is not her problem only OYO problem, just give us the OYO customer service number and ask us to manage this by our own, this so unacceptable for me and I was so mad towards their service. Things goes so messy on that time, i did call OYO customer service for more than 5 times and drop an email to the customer service and finally i manage to speak to them unfortunately the OYO customer service (Ashwini) do not help me nothing on this, she did say there no record nothing on their system, i'm questioning her and mad on this and she trying to be so rude. We waited for about 1 hour and they still couldn't manage to help us out, so the reception did ask us to wait more time as OYO will change us to another hotel or if there's no vacant hotel they'll refund us back . I push the reception that I can't accept all of this service and get us to wait for no update. The receptionist was on call with her team and spoke with their language, not even in English, then after she did mention that they can't help us on this as my booking, as is not in the system already and has already been canceled by Agoda. I did not find her answer as this was not my first time traveling and booking via Agoda. There's no email, nothing and booking has been canceled? She did say that Agoda will refund back my money and there is nothing to do with OYO. It was a nightmare and wasted my bloody time for us as I needed to check-in to another hotel at 5pm. I have to pay double than this as this should be only for my transit. Another thing to add, there are still no reply emails from OYO, and till todate i still have not received any email from Agoda till this review email but where's the email to notify me that this room has been canceled, the question is who canceled this room? Is it OYO or AGODA?? Perhaps, I only feel it has something to do with the hotel but they insisted and mentioned Agoda. It's has been two weeks and till now i do not receive any refundable from AGODA or OYO. As i said, is not about the money but this how you treat you guests???? and there's no action till NOW I think OYO group need to have a good training for their staff as well!
