My wife has chronic asthma, and from the moment we checked in, her health deteriorated day after day. She became increasingly ill until we started suspecting mold in the room. We asked the staff to inspect the AC—and what they found was shocking: the entire unit was filled with mold. Not minor dust or residue, but a level of contamination I’ve genuinely never seen before (the photo is the result AFTER deep cleaning. Still a lot of mold). By then, it was too late. My wife ended up with a severe infection, fever, and respiratory complications directly linked to the mold exposure—confirmed by a medical professional. She couldn’t work, couldn’t function normally, and spent days suffering because of the negligence in maintaining the room. This has cost us not only medical expenses, but also lost income and a complete disruption of our daily lives. The way management handled this situation made everything even worse. Despite multiple requests, the manager never bothered to speak to me—not once. No call, no face-to-face conversation. Just a generic, hollow apology email followed by an “offer” to let us check out early without cancellation fees, as if that made up for the severe health damage and financial impact this stay caused. To call this unacceptable is an understatement. This is a serious health and safety issue, and the complete lack of accountability or basic human decency from management was appalling. I would strongly advise anyone—especially families, elderly guests, and anyone with respiratory issues—to avoid staying here. This experience was dangerous, distressing, and handled with zero care. Definitely not recommended.
