Ich buchte zwei Zimmer im Hotel und kam um 8 Uhr morgens zum Einchecken an. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption teilte mir mit, dass die Zimmer zwar vor der offiziellen Check-in-Zeit von 15 Uhr fertig seien, ich aber für den frühen Check-in eine zusätzliche Gebühr zahlen müsse. Da ich die Richtlinien verstand, entschied ich mich, mein Gepäck dort aufzubewahren und kam um 15 Uhr zurück, um meine Zimmerkarten abzuholen. Als ich jedoch die Zimmer betrat, stellte ich zu meinem Entsetzen fest, dass sie fensterlos waren – dunkel, feucht und völlig anders, als während des Buchungsvorgangs angekündigt, wo Zimmer mit Fenstern versprochen wurden. Um 15:20 Uhr ging ich zurück zur Rezeption, um einen Zimmerwechsel zu beantragen. Die Rezeptionistin fragte zunächst, ob das Zimmer bereits genutzt worden sei, und behauptete dann, nachdem sie etwa eine Minute lang nachgefragt hatte, dass alle Doppelzimmer mit Fenstern ausgebucht seien. Sie fügte hinzu, dass nur das Einzelzimmer gegen ein Zimmer mit Fenster ausgetauscht werden könne. Unzufrieden kontaktierte ich den Buchungsagenten. Überraschenderweise kam nicht lange danach derselbe Mitarbeiter zu mir und teilte mir mit, dass jemand „zufällig“ ein Zimmer mit Fenster storniert hatte und wir nun das Zimmer wechseln könnten. Was für eine praktische Wendung der Ereignisse! Diese Erfahrung unterstreicht den schlechten Service und den Mangel an Respekt gegenüber den Kunden in diesem Hotel. Es scheint, dass Ihnen das Personal, wenn Sie nicht darauf bestehen, die schlechtesten verfügbaren Zimmer zuweist und dabei lächelt und einen minderwertigen Service bietet. Dieses Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und zutiefst enttäuschend. In Bezug auf die Umgebung kann dieses Hotel kaum als eigenständiges Hotel betrachtet werden. Es fühlt sich eher wie ein verlängerter Durchgang an. Hinter dem Hotel befindet sich eine belebte Essensstraße, durch die täglich unzählige Menschen gehen, was eine laute und chaotische Atmosphäre schafft. Die Aufzüge und Flure sind eng und veraltet, was das allgemeine Unbehagen noch verstärkt. Das einzig Positive ist die Nähe zur U-Bahn-Station. Abgesehen davon gibt es jedoch nichts anderes, was es wert wäre, empfohlen zu werden. Die Umgebung und die Servicequalität bleiben weit hinter den Erwartungen zurück, was es zu einer wirklich enttäuschenden Erfahrung macht.

Amoy Hotel is a gem in the heart of Singapore! The location is fantastic, with easy access to major attractions and public transport. The unique heritage charm, combined with modern comforts, made our stay truly memorable. The staff were attentive and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy and well-situated hotel!

Third time at AMOY Hotel and they impressed again with great service from Miza and Jay. Room is cosy, clean and comfortable, and I love the welcome tea, complimentary minibar and breakfast options.

This is my second time here and I love the cosy boutique rooms, as well as the fact that they have plenty of solo rooms for single travelers. The service was amazing as well, as every staff was friendly, polite and thoughtful.

Premier location; vintage building; unique characters of the place; I was afraid of the noise before the booking coz it’s right besides the busy area but it didn’t bother me; not spacious but it was written on the room conditions.

Perfect location, very clean, and accommodating staff. As a traveler spending a night in Singapore for business, I couldn't find a better hotel. The pictures just don't do it justice.

The hotel room was small, but clean and well organized. The entrance was hard to find.

Very nice hotel and very enjoyable stay. Restaurants and metro literally on the doorstep of this hotel make it a fantastic choice for those who travel for business and it is very convenient. Very nice customer service from the front office staff as well.

I wish breakfast was served a little earlier

Lovely room in a unique building. Nice services. Everything is lovely except noise control that you might hear other guests walking on the corridor.

Staff are friendly and attentive; booked 2 rooms under different channels but check in/reception staff noticed same name and arranged rooms next to each other without prompting. Location is convenience and easily accessible to places. 👍

Right at the centre of China Town. Easy access to various F&B outlets day and night. Staff was very helpful and even help me print out some urgent document after midnight.

I quite like the vibe of the hotel and the design with modern luxury touch of Chinese culture . I was able to check in at 1:30pm and late check out is chargeable. The room I booked was cosy single 16sqm is kinda small but decent and feels a sense of warmth. The mini bar items were complimentary and the chips are tasty.There are not bottle water so water is directly from the tap and is safe to consume. The bed was comfortable and air con was good but have slight sound which is still okay.I find the room should have one more ceiling light near the bed area as I find it a bit dim. The service was good when I have some request and they acceded to it. As for the cons , there is not bath robe provided for cosy single room , no swimming pool or gym to use and no other facilities to explore so basically you just stay in your room and you roam the nearby vicinity locations. Breakfast can choose either at Genius Bar which offers vegan options or Henri western options I have chosen to dine at Henri and the food was good but would be better if the options have some Singapore delicacies like nasi lemak . It would be good if the hotel organised some Chinese culture workshop like calligraphy , understand rich Chinese history would be value added. Overall I enjoyed my stay but some areas can be improved still .

Very nice hotel. And staff are friendly too. Easy to find and convenient as very near to MRT station. Is good place for staycation.
