The pool was fantastic, the pool staff and cleaning staff were excellent. The room was spacious, excellent shower, good air conditioning and the grounds are immaculately kept. This lovely hotel was badly let down by the quality of the restaurant. There is nowhere else to eat, you have to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food is dreadful and overpriced. I had classic Sri Lankan curry and it was inedible. A friend had seafood and said it was disgusting. Another friend had a hamburger for lunch and said it was ”not very nice”.

There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around.
