Beach House Hotel

We returned after an 8 year absence to find a new Beach House Hotel but with the same superb, helpful host-owner Penny to welcome us. Surrounded by the Roman ruins of ancient Side, across a mostly pedestrian road from the beach and only steps from the excellent Kamer and Emir restaurants. Our 1 bedroom apartment was well fitted out with a kitchen, clothes washer, internet, A/C, large-screen TV, eating and sitting areas, and 2 small but usable balconies. We booked a relaxing, on-time transfer to and from the Antalya airport.

Had a wonderful holiday in Side at the new Beach House Hotel. Beautiful apartment with all you need for a quiet relaxing time with a lovely sea view. A big thank you to Penny a lovely host with a wealth of local knowledge.Looking forward to returning.

We visited this hotel in October 2022 and had a lovely holiday. The owner, Penny, is so friendly and helpful and really made the holiday for me. The location is great, in the heart of old Side and directly opposite a small sandy beach.

I stayed at The Beach House Hotel for 14 nights and enjoyed every minute there.It is a small,friendly place and feels like you are staying in someones house rather than a hotel.The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and youare treated as a friend not a guest. It is a perfect location for a quiet relaxing holiday,geared more for older clientel.The beach is just over the road and down some steps.Even in mid October the sea is warm The only let down to the Beach House Hotel is the poor WiFi, it only works on the ground floor,i could not get a connection in my room at all.However if you need good WiFi go 100 yds down the road to the Kamer restaurant where they have superfast broadband. I will definatly return to the Beach House Hotel next year. It is a shame they close over the winter as Side has the perfect climate for long stay winter breaks.

This is a run down hotel - very very basic. We asked for a superior room and were allocated 201. This could be said to remind one of that in an undeveloped country. When it rained, the rain fell on one of the beds. The owner who is Australian had neither a welcome or a thank you, and when I checked out, she insisted that the exchange rate was less than what i informed her. The credit card company has since refunded the overcharge. On a positive note, the staff and the food were excellent

Stayed here September 5 for 2 weeks a bit run down but had one of the best holidays iv had in a long time . Staff penny the owner and the many friends I met the thank you from Wales cannot say how much I enjoyed your hotel . And keep up the good fight and hope to see u soon

The hotel is in the perfect location in side: the side of side that gets a breeze and is quiet at night. The beach is directly in front of the hotel, with only a small pedestrian road between. The beach itself has all the amenities you need to relax, and it's perfect to walk back to the hotel for lunch, which we did. The food and service were both great both at breakfast and for meals and drinks. Everyone on the staff is super friendly, helpful, and kind. The food is delicious and well prepared. I'm not sure why some reviews complain about the staff because everyone, from the lady who cleaned the rooms to the owner, were wonderful to us, who were definitely strangers to them. It is clear that many if not most of the people who come to the hotel have come many times over the years. They are definitely treated like family with lots of hugs, as they should be. That speaks to the "family feel" of the hotel. What made our experience less than we had hoped for, and why this is not an excellent rating, was that we had a reservation for a double room, but once we arrived they gave us a small, twin room because, we were told, their doubles were all taken. The room was very small; the twin beds very narrow and not comfortable. The only windows faced the west, making the room very hot. We paid a nominal extra fee for the air conditioning, which did work well. After seeing some of the double rooms facing the water, we realized that our experience would have been very different if we'd had a double room. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel and not advertised as such, but if you get a good-sized room, the people, location, vibe, and food would make it the quintessential beach house stay. Would love to stay there again, and longer, in a better room!

Me and my family stayed here and it’s absolutely amazing. The staff were very attentive and could not be more helpful. I was not feeling great and the boss and others done everything they could to make sure I was okay. The food is amazing, and the views from the balcony were absolutely beautiful. The hotel is spacious the pool isn’t the biggest but we had an absolute blast. The rooms were very clean and the night shift manager was so lovely and polite and was helpful during our late check in, would recommend this hotel to anyone. Relaxing, beautiful and the loveliest staff.
