Buckley Farmhouse

Great place and so easy to relax. Large farmhouse, Hostess was lovely, rooms were spotless and so large, massive bed was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. There were fresh flowers in my room. Rooms had tea and coffee facilities with a tiny fridge containing fresh milk. Also loved the lack of the sound of any traffic. Wonderful!

The Buckley farmhouse b&b is a lovely setting for a relaxing stay. Room was comfortable with nice finishing touches ie fresh flowers and a large en-suite with power shower. Susan was friendly and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb plenty of choice freshly cooked to order and delicious. We would highly recommend.

This B&B is 5* in every respect. The rural setting is perfect - away from the hussle and bustle of the town but still within easy reach of the centre. The farmhouse is surrounded by beautifully kept grounds and the views are amazing. The house itself has all the character and charm one would expect from an old farmhouse yet the decor and facilities are still superb. Our room was perfect right down to the lovely daffodils in the fireplace to the fresh milk in the mini fridge. The breakfast was probably the best we have had at any B&B. Stay for that alone!

We recently spent two nights at the Buckley Farmhouse and we would thoroughly recommend it. The Room was light and airy and the bed comfortable and huge. The farmhouse atmosphere is very nice indeed with a friendly "Working Cocker Spaniel" along with the Ducks and Chickens. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.

We booked a two night stay and throughly enjoyed our stay, we were made very welcome by the hosts and welcomed into their home. The room was very comfortable and well equipped, lovely bed clean and comfortable. The breakfast was extremely delightful and nothing too much trouble. There was an owl outside at night and was nice listening to them. Went and visited the ducks and chickens, love the location.

Cancelled our honeymoon stay despite booking 5 months in advance no doubt someone else was paying more, strange conversation on the phone sounded like she wanted us to cancel. Had to book somewhere else last minute at a much higher price. UNRELIABLE

Lovely quiet location set on a farm. Easy to find. Very friendly & helpful hosts , nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cosy, clean & Comfortable with everything you need . Breakfast was delicious. Resident Spaniel "Smudge" is Gorgeous. We will definitely return again.

Absolutely beautiful more like an exclusive hotel than b&b but with a lovely personal touch . Exceptionally clean . Breakfast first class . Comfy room and bed . Even a little fridge with fresh milk . Sue our host was lovely . Lovely country setting but just 10 mins to lovely Sidmouth through country lane . Would highly recommend

We visited Buckley for a week from 16th July 2023 . We were welcomed with a lovely doggie Smudge and Sue who was very nice and gave us a heads up re keys, breakfast times and parking. We booked the King room with Bathroom and it did not disappoint in any way. It was a beautiful bright large room and had a small little fridge for Milk and fresh flowers from Sue's garden I believe. It was a fantastic location as needed to be in walking distance to my Mum in Harcombe. I know the area so Sidbury was also in walking distance which has a lovely Pub and is just very nice to walk around. Buckley Farm had a beautiful garden with views out to the Sea and a patio to sit on in the evenings if you wished to and the weather was kind , which it was, and which we did. The room had everything you needed even down to Hair conditioner and was very well presented we had fresh towels every day and the beds were remade which was lovely to come back to , also Milk was replaced if you had used it. The guest lounge we did not really use but was a lovely room and place to sit in if you wanted too. The breakfast room was very sweet and all I can say was breakfast was excellent thanks to a lovely smiling Sue every morning and the Chef John who we did get to meet and who was also very nice. Unfortunately Sue had to miss serving breakfast one morning but she had a lovely lady her best friend Geraldine who came and served everyone and she did a great job. Thankyou Sue and John for having us and we will be back to stay for sure. I hope you are alot better now Sue and take care. You have a wonderful business and a beautiful home .
