Ein wunderschöner Ort, um in Sibiu zu bleiben. Es liegt nur wenige Schritte von der Altstadt von Sibiu, in der Nähe aller Attraktionen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, bereit, in jedem Problem zu helfen. Alles der Komposition ist gemütlich, ziemlich und sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker, mit vielen handgefertigten traditionellen Produkten. Sicherlich, dies wird unsere Option in Sibiu sein

Das ehemalige IBIS-Hotel wurde von der rumänischen CONTINENTAL-Kette übernommen, um noch das letzte Quäntchen Profit herauszuquetschen... Das meist ungeschulte und auffällig junge Personal glänzt zumeist mit Abwesenheit oder ist mit privaten Handy-Telefonaten beschäftigt. An der Rezeption muss man oft Zeit mitbringen, da diese nicht durchgängig besetzt ist. Hotel-eigene Kleidung gibt's ebenso nicht. Dafür häufen sich bis zum Mittag die Hinterlassenschaften der letzten Besucher auf den Tischen in der Lobby, die aber alleine schon aufgrund der ausgesessenen und völlig unterdimensionierten Sitzgelegenheiten ohnehin nicht wirklich zum Verweilen einläd... Die durchaus modern und geschmacklich eingerichteten Zimmer werden sporadisch gereinigt und der technische Zustand der Aufzüge ist beängstigend! Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr übersichtlich und besticht mit viel abgepackten wie Muffins o.ä. Irritierend ist auch, dass sich die Mitarbeiter mit großen Tassen ganz selbstverständlich an den 2 einzigen Kaffee-Automaten im Frühstücksgastraum bedienen, während man als Gast zunächst warten und dann nur kleine Tassen nutzen kann. Hotel-eigene Parkplätze gibt es genau 8 Stellplätze - ansonsten kann man ja (natürlich gebührenpflichtig) auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe parken... Die ”Konferenzräume” sind geradezu lächerlich in Größe und Ausstattung und sind den Aufpreis zu tageweisen Nutzen definitiv nicht wert. Dafür hängen in nahezu allen Winkeln Überwachungskameras - Big Brother lässt grüssen... Wir kommen definitiv kein 2. Mal!

In fact, I had a reservation, but I refused to stay at the hotel due to the conditions and the rudeness of the staff (who were probably following the owner's instructions). The German-named hotel, a rip-off, was pretty much like the one I got with Johannis. You check in, go to your room, and find that it's very hot. You fiddle with the high-tech AC control system on a tablet embedded in the wall, only to discover that it's already set to the minimum temperature with the ventilation at maximum, yet it still displays 27 degrees in the room. You take off your shoes and sit by the ventilation grille, noticing a slight breeze (and I'm not exaggerating, just a slight breeze) that probably aims for 25-26 degrees. I've spent several years cumulatively in hotels, so I know their tricks. I open TripAdvisor and search for reviews, and of course, all the ones from the summer period complain about the lack of AC. I go down to the reception and ask the lady there if they have any rooms where the AC works and if they won't shuffle me from room to room as they did with other tourists who had written about this ”strategy,” probably devised by the rude owner. The lady assures me that she will solve my problem: two more rooms and luggage tours through the hotel, only to find out that it was exactly as I suspected: no room could provide a decent temperature. The lowest was 26 degrees with the AC running at maximum for 5 hours (in a colleague's room who had arrived earlier). I don't understand two things: How does a place like this get a 4-star rating? Probably the same way gas stations between buildings do. What kind of owner is so rude and stingy that they won't solve the problem and won't instruct their staff to try to fool the customer by shuffling them from room to room, even though they have reviews from 2022 pointing out the issue? PS: I mustn't forget two more aspects: brown wooden doors in a design with white and gray in the rooms; it's as if a blind person thought of the color combination. The parking lot might be enough for 10% of the rooms, and the reception lady encourages you to park at the nearby Mega Image supermarket where the parking spaces are marked as for the store's customers. When you ask if that's not a problem, you're told to put your car in a less noticeable spot in the back; otherwise, the store staff might notice and come to ”complain” about it. This is Romanian tourism (even with a German name) in the ”land of well-done things.”

Overall excellent experience ruined by contracted horrible laundry service! Clothing was not ready when promised, poorly washed -- light clothes darkened from mixed wash, clothes were returned folded/damp & the reception staff supporting the contractor's stories -- my clothes were promised the evening before, when they were not returned the next morning, reception staff said the contractor was on the way -- 20 minutes later, they told me the contractor was ironing my clothes & will be here in 10 minutes, all lies! The Golden Tulip Ana Tower's needs a reputable laundry service or discontinue it!

Wir hatten einen großen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel, das angesichts seiner Bewertung ein wenig überrascht war. Komfortable Zimmer, großes Bett und gute saubere Badezimmer. Pissen können jedoch besser sein. Personal war professionell, Frühstück großartig. Hotel war ruhig und angenehm. Alles in allem, ein großer Aufenthalt in der Tat.

Das Hotel bietet, was Sie erwarten würden. Zimmer sah sauber und teuer. Der Zimmerstil ist etwas veraltet auf meinen Geschmack (Mein Geschmack ist moderner), aber es ist definitiv ok. Das Frühstück wird während der Woche bei 7.00am serviert, was ein bisschen spät sein kann, aber das Angebot ist gut mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Es gibt einen kleinen Fitnessraum mit 1 Laufmaschine, 1 Elliptik, 1 Fahrrad und 1 oberen Körpermaschine. Es gibt eine Sauna, die während meines Aufenthalts im Oktober 2023 geschlossen wurde. Zugänglichkeit vom Flughafen ist gut, ca. 5 Minuten mit einem Taxi.
