We stayed in kashmir house, pahalgam during our trip to kashmir. We just stayed for one night and the experience was good. It is not a very luxurious property, but ideal for people who want to have a short stopover at pahalgam overnight. We stayed here in october, so the weather was pleasant. Location: located right by the main chandanwari road, around 0. 5km away from pahalgam market area. Rooms: rooms were well furnished with wooden panelling. Appropriate for the price bathrooms: clean and spacious with hot water available round the clock. Only drawback was that windows of the bathrooms of some rooms were not covered properly from outside view. So we had to check a couple of rooms before deciding on one which was properly covered. Service: service by the staff was also very good. They also arranged taxi for sightseeing. Rates of taxi are fixed by the union and rate card was available at the reception. Restaurant: there is a pure veg restaurant attached to the property. The food was average. Suggestions: overall for the price we paid, the stay was pleasant. The bathrooms windows in some rooms could be better covered from outside view for more privacy. Apart from that it is a good choice for tourists visiting pahalgam

GGastnutzerJahangir cottage is an austere clean and hygienic place of stay with a touch of home. I travel-led solo and i felt completely at home owing to the efforts of dr jahangir the proprietor. He is well-read and provides excellent suggestions for travel whenever sought. This place stands true to its tagline - come as guests and leave as family. I would strongly recommend jahangir cottage to solo travellers and families alike.

GGastnutzerDie Lage des ”Homestay” ist bitte in Erinnerung zu rufen, es ist ein Hausstay und nicht ein Hotel, ist ein wenig vom Stadtzentrum Markt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und mehr oder weniger komfortabel. Allerdings bieten sie keine Raumheizgeräte und es ist ein großes Let unten im Kalt. Denken Sie daran, die Zimmer werden extrem kalt in der Nacht und obwohl sie so viele Wäsche bieten wie Sie brauchen, aber die Anwesenheit von Heizung ist schwer verpasst. Der Hausbetreiber ist weich gesprochen und aufmerksam und versucht, alle unsere Probleme zu lösen die besten seiner Absichten und ich muss seine Hilfe schätzen, da ohne ihn unser Aufenthalt noch schmerzhafter gewesen wäre. Da für ihn ihr Restaurant unter Renovierung und aufgrund der entfernten Lage des Heimsitzes, Dass man irgendwelche Nahrung aus dem Marktzentrum bekommt, war immer schmerzhaft und muss vorher geplant werden.
