Glauben Sie nicht, dass die Fotos im Internet - die Zimmer sahen so aus, aber jetzt sind die Teppiche threadbare, das Gemälde braucht eine Erfrischung und das Badezimmer in unserem Zimmer braucht eine vollständige Renovierung - ich glaube nicht, dass ich je in einem Raum geblieben bin, in dem die Das Badezimmer hatte Lino Fliesen auf dem Boden! Abgesehen davon, dass die Zimmer sauber und die Betten kleine, aber komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Restaurantpersonal wunderschön. Es hat den Bonus eines Parks vor Ort, aber im Allgemeinen nicht das Geld wert.

Das Hotel liegt direkt im Zentrum der Stadt und die Lage ist gut. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, Sie können das Hauptgericht selbst bestellen, wir frühstücken sehr sauber. Der Hotelservice ist auch sehr gut. Wir fragten nach der nahe gelegenen Buszeit, und die Hotelrezeption verkaufte sie an den Computer und druckte uns einen Fahrplan. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Hotelhaus sehr alt ist und die Zimmer im Allgemeinen klein sind.

Wir hatten einen zwei Nächte- Aufenthalt hier und waren mit ganzer Erfahrung zufrieden. Wir wurden von einer charmanten jungen Dame namens Ellie & begrüßt und alle Einrichtungen sehr effizient gezeigt. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und sauber mit allem, was Sie wünschen konnten. Die Lage ist ideal, da Sie mit einem kurzen Spaziergang Wyle Cop auf die Stadt zugreifen können oder einen Spaziergang entlang der Flusslinie für eine längere ruhige und sehr scenische Route zur Stadt oder zum Theater usw. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen sehr gut mit einer ausgezeichneten Auswahl an Essen. Danke für einen großartigen Besuch

Not stayed in the rooms but been in many a time for a drink. Nicely situated close to the town, railway and bus stations with a pleasant pavement area at the front Our experience is that the staff are always excellent with a smile and efficiency that is often missing in some places. Food is good too Nice place to spend some time

My wife and I recently traveled to Shrewsbury (from Chicago) as part of a group tour. We booked our 2 nights there at Anton Guest House. We found our accommodations to be very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Anton Guest House is located in a quiet neighborhood, an easy walk into town. We also felt that our stay at Anton Guest House was a great value. The owner, Louise, could not have been more gracious, friendly or personable. She made us feel right at home from the very start. I love breakfast time; the delicious food that Louise made for us was a great way to start the day. With a nice variety of breakfast choices on offer, each morning can be a new treat. I highly recommend Anton Guest House to anyone staying in Shrewsbury. We will definitely book there again when we return. Thank you Louise!

Chose this hotel because I have played golf a few times with my husband here and love the course. Arrived at 4pm (check in is 3pm) to be told room not ready as staff off sick. We sat and waited but the couple that checked in after us complained and were given complimentary bar drinks while they waited, we were not offered this so bit miffed that you have to vocally complain to be offered this! Checked in at 5pm and card to door didn’t work so I had to traipse back to reception to get card re-validated. Finally got into room and unpacked and we were so fed up we couldn’t be bothered to go to pool as planned as so little time left so just got ready for dinner which was booked at 7pm. Whilst getting ready the people in the next room to us decided for some reason to try the adjoining door to our room and walked in saying “oh so sorry” we were rather shocked to say the least!! The adjoining room was locked simply by a swivel lock so either side could lock/unlock the door from both sides. At this point we decided to take all of our purses, phones, car keys etc to dinner with us. I’m sure they were perfectly fine people but as we did not know them from Adam we felt insecure leaving stuff in the room. Dinner was good. Slept ok. Breakfast was a faff. It should be a self service hot buffet but instead there’s a big queue with one lady serving you. We waited for beans which were not heated so absolutely vile. Why is one young lady putting food on your plate? Felt like school dinner line!!!!! We went for our treatment after breakfast and were shown around the spa and pool etc which looked lovely but we had already checked out so would have been nice to have been shown around on the afternoon (well evening eventually) when we checked in. Not really sure what to say other than it’s a nice golf course to play with my husband! Sorry to my best friend for a very odd birthday experience for both of us.
