Etwa eine Stunde vom Flughafen Amman entfernt- mit direktem Zugang zum toten Meer. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sauber, es gibt eine Minibar und Coffeemaker. Leider war die Matratze etwas zu weich. Die Qualität der Speisen war hervorragend. Es gibt mehrere Pools auf dem weitläufigen (mit Stufen) Gelände.

Der Ort ist ganz nett Aber der Transportservice innerhalb des Resorts ist sehr schlecht. Niemand hat uns von einem Ort zum anderen gebracht, obwohl der Wagen leer war, weil sie beschäftigt waren. Das Abendessen ist begrenzt und entspricht nicht einem 5-Sterne-Hotel. Im Zimmer steht eine große Flasche Wasser. Und die besten kleinen Wasserflaschen. Toilettenartikel sind verpackt, was in 5-Sterne-Hotels nicht der Fall ist, sie müssen mit Produkten im Namen des Hotels versiegelt werden. Die Veranstaltungen drinnen sind gut, aber sie endeten früh.

Traditional village themed resort with immaculate service and enjoyable amenities. The rooms we got were relatively small for a resort but still we enjoyed a lot as a family. The best part was how the hotel conserved the old olive trees. There were olive trees as old as 1400 years. Amazing! Lastly, when you see the lowest point on earth you feel you have accomplished something.

Pros: Private beach with a staff to help you floating. Full option breakfast, comfort bed and pillow. Cons: AC is not cool, though adjusting the temp, nothing happened. Also the ceiling fan is for decorating, even it moved but no any wind.

The staff was quite friendly but sometimes too slow especially when it came to trasfers via the hotel locations (the area is huge). Furniture in the room is quite old, but the room itself is clean. Bed is super comfortable. The views from my room were splendid! I also loved separate stairs from my terrace to the beach. At the same time amenities, spa, restaurants and the beach are amazing. Food was excellent. If they update the rooms, I would give this hotel 10/10.

Movenpick Dead Sea was one of the happiest leg in my Jordan trip. The hotel setting was so charming and quaint that one could spend the whole day relaxing within the hotel massive compound. The hotel immersive mud experience and Zara spa (hydro pool and other facilities) was immensely enjoyable! Although it was winter, the waters temperature was bearable. The lifeguards were helpful and were great photographers. The variety and cost of food at restaurants within the hotel are reasonable, such that one does not need to venture out of the hotel. Also, the fountain in the breakfast restaurant provides a calm and soothing atmosphere. These are little touches that make one’s trip memorable. A minor hiccup is, scanning of luggage at the entrance is only manned by 1 security guard. It would be helpful if the bellboys/porters are stationed at the security area to help guests with the luggage (where help is needed most to load and unload bags from the security conveyor belt) instead of standing in the lobby area. My appreciation to Ahmed at the front desk reception who listened to my feedback and promptly reacts. Overall, an outstanding experience at Dead Sea.

The Mövenpick resort is beautifully designed, we really felt like staying in an Arabic village. It’s big enough to not feel ‘stuck’ in an otherwise extremely dull and deserted area (dead sea area/ ‘Amman beach’). The staff is very kind. Check in and out went smooth. Some rooms could use an upgrade by the looks of it, but generally kept maintained. The sea beach area could’ve been done a bit nicer and ergonomical (Hilton made it more beach type and had less rocks, did they remove it or are they just lucky with a slightly different location?). This made the Dead Sea dips quite challenging for a lot of people. There lifeguards were helping them though, again good service. Foodwise we could get around as vegetarians, but don’t expect anything lavish. For vegans the choice is seriously very limited. We were excited about chopsticks, but they literally had just one vegetarian main, and we had to ask them to not put fishsauce in the Thai curry (while listed on the menu as plantbased). Luigi’s (Italian) had more options! The buffet restaurant will make you a dish too if you ask upfront: amazing service! We asked for a stir fry tofu, was nice. Cocktails were disappointing, perhaps because we are used to a different (Amsterdam) cocktail scene. Considering the price they charge, we feel like we could expect more of it. Loved the daily 4 pm complementary Mövenpick chocolate time!

Excellent property. We had a great time. Food, people (especially Nermin from the reception desk),, amenities were all simply amazing. They also helped check in early.

The service standard was good but the room was very dirty. The floor was not mopped and cleaned for a very long time. Went to the playroom as I was traveling with my toddler, the condition of the playroom was terrible and dusty. Not maintained and cleaned for a long time. The facility is old and past its peak. I paid for an upgrade for a room close to the beach and tje view was spectacular. Generally a good experience but wished it was a lot better.

Bery helpful and friendly staffs at the shore line, at the restaurants, and parking. Great facilities
