Wildflower Hall, An Oberoi Resort, Shimla

Beautiful property, a bit expensive but worth the penny..!!

Visited Shimla for the first time this year and what a delightful experience it was largely because of this beautiful hotel. The location of the property is about 2500mt above sea level and exceptionally well maintained. Our room overlooked the forest and it was indeed a sight to behold. After a long drive we arrived exhausted at around 7:30pm. We were given the warmest welcome and the most delicious hot apple drink I’ve ever tasted. The front of house staff were absolutely so polite and always willing to assist. The rooms were always cleaned on time and left sparkling every day. One day we ordered room service and it was so well presented sent through in its own warmer oven which we sincerely appreciated since we only finished the meal about 2 hours later. The food at the restaurant is nothing short of spectacular and the outside mountain views are unmatched. I also visited the spa which I would rate a 10/10. The inside heated pool and outside infinity pool are beautiful and certainly deserves a mention. I could go on and on about our wonderful experience at this hotel but words can not do it justice. This is a hotel that truly values its guests and goes above and beyond for them. This was proven when I left behind a novel in our room and called the hotel with the request for them to courier it to our next stop in another city. I didn’t really expect to receive the book but was so grateful when I did at my next hotel. Also a special mention to the four gentlemen that saw us off upon our early morning departure on 19 November. What a lovely gesture that they had arranged a little food and coffee station for us at the front of the hotel. This was truly appreciated and further emphasised the genuine level of care they have for their guests. Having stayed at some of the best hotels in several different countries(including others in the Oberoi chain), this has by far been the best one to date. I only give credit where it is due and I can honestly say I have never seen attention to detail like that we experienced at the Wildflower. Would recommend it 10/10.

More than what we have heard. What a great superb luxury property.. food was toooo goood.. very tasty… staff very friendly polite and nice. Best part was views from all over the resort. So many activities for kids.. pool temperature perfectly controlled. ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the Wildflower. The service from the staff was exceptional, warm and friendly. Our room was beautifully appointed, with an incredibly comfortable bed and terrific shower. The meals in the restaurant were delicious, especially the duck. The breakfast was very enjoyable. Definitely a fabulous place to stay.

One of the best places I've stayed. The staff are beyond exceptional, especially Suman in front of house and the exec chef Bamti. Suman was so personable and attentive, without being intrusive, and really made our stay even better. Bamti actually took the time to do me a not on the menu Himachali meal which was genuinely wonderful. The views from the hotel are beyond gorgeous, the jacuzzi looks out over the himalayas. Incredible.

If you’re in search of heaven then this is the right place. There’s not a single thing on which they have compromised a bit. Everything was up to the mark , very well maintained, excellent staff , excellent food . Excellent location. One must visit this property.
