GGastnutzerReally nice! The decor was classy. The rooms were very clean and everyone in the hotel was very friendly. The bed was much more comfortable than at many Chinese hotels I've stayed at. I also like that they replenish the breakfast buffet throughout the operating time so you aren't left with crumbs if you don't arrive immediately. They have someone on site who will make fresh breakfast noodles or wontons for you.
The hotel isn't very close to any attractions, but it is just a few steps away from a subway station, so it's very easy to do things like go to the provincial museum. There are also good restaurants nearby. I went to the hotpot restaurant Happy Lamb, which near the intersection just to the west of the hotel. They were very friendly and helpful even though I wanted a table for one.
If I would improve anything, I'd make clearer signage explaining how to get to the lobby. (It's on the fifth floor of the building.) That wasn't clearly explained in either Chinese or English, so both a local couple and I were worried we had gone to the wrong address.
No English was spoken when I went there, and the women at the desk told me I was the first foreign customer they'd had in three years. Still, they were very friendly and helpful. Just be aware if you're foreign you may need to learn some simple phrases in Chinese to communicate with them or have a translation program you can use.

KKellyC_**Hotel Review: Aesthetic Excellence Overshadowed by Comfort Failures**
Our recent stay at this supposedly 5-star hotel left us with mixed feelings. While the hotel clearly invested heavily in aesthetics, creating a visually stunning environment that looks fantastic in photos, the design seemed to prioritize form over function, ultimately compromising our comfort. Sadly, this became a deal-breaker for us.
The most glaring issue was the room's ventilation and temperature control—or lack thereof. We visited in early March, and the entire building was excessively heated. Despite being from a tropical country and accustomed to warm weather, I found myself sweating in shorts and a singlet. The staff, though polite and eager to help, seemed powerless to address the issue. They provided us with a small portable AC unit, which was better than nothing, but it was clear from their demeanor that this was a recurring problem for guests.
Sleeping was a nightmare. The only way to cool the room slightly was to keep the windows open, but this meant having the blinds and curtains up, allowing outside noise and light to flood in. The choice was between sleeping in a sauna-like environment or enduring the disturbances from outside. Needless to say, we had a terrible night's sleep and were relieved to check out after just one night.
On a positive note, the service was impeccable. The staff truly deserve recognition for their efforts to assist guests despite the limitations they faced. The breakfast spread was also a highlight—delicious, varied, and reasonably priced, especially if you inform them in advance about adding breakfast to your stay. The room amenities were top-notch, and the spaciousness of the room added to the overall sense of luxury. We got a family suite which was plenty spacious and came with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 bathtubs and a living area.
However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the discomfort caused by the poor temperature regulation. During our trip, we stayed in four different cities across China, and this was the only hotel that lacked proper air conditioning and heating controls. For a 5-star establishment, this is a significant oversight.
In conclusion, while the hotel excels in aesthetics, service, and amenities, the lack of a well-thought-out solution for room temperature is a major drawback. Management needs to address this issue with a long-term fix. After all, no matter how beautiful a hotel looks, it’s hard to appreciate it when you can’t get a good night’s rest.

凯凯莉菜亹平Ich buchte kurz nach 9:00 Uhr nach dem Abflug des Schnellzugs. Mein Gastlehrer nahm mich von der Shijiazhuang Station und führte mich zum Hotel, aber wir konnten nicht in der Nähe fahren, weil die Straße geschlossen war. Wir gingen ca. 500m und mein Lehrer half bei der Eincheckung übersetzen, da ich sehr müde war, nach dem langen Flug aus Australien direkt nach der 7hr Zugreise. Ich habe gerade meinen Pass verwendet. Das Zimmer schmeckt ein wenig Zigarettenruch und die schlechte Luftqualität schien irgendwo zu lecken. Ich lief die ganze Nacht mein tragbares Luftreiniger. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und alles schien in sehr guten Arbeitsbedingungen außer dem Thermostat. Trotz des Versuchs, die Raumtemperatur auf 16-18°c zu senken, blieb es bei 23-24°c, was für mich zu hoch ist. Ich hatte ein Boutique-Queen-Raum, das sehr warm wurde, wenn die dicken Gürtel geöffnet. Es ist ruhig und sauber.

GGastnutzerDie Lage dieses Hotels ist einfach fantastisch! Es liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße der Stadt, sodass Taxis immer ein Kinderspiel sind. Ein zehnminütiger Spaziergang bringt Sie zum U-Bahn-Knotenpunkt, von wo aus Sie direkt zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäftsvierteln gelangen – ein Kinderspiel für alle. Noch praktischer: Es gibt rund um die Uhr geöffnete Lebensmittelgeschäfte und mehrere renommierte, etablierte Restaurants in der Nähe, sodass Sie bequem spät abends einen Snack oder frühmorgens einen Kaffee genießen können. Für Reisende wie uns, die spontanes Fernweh haben, ist es ein wahres Juwel.
Die Frühstücksauswahl ist überraschend vielfältig. Von chinesischem Congee, gedämpften Brötchen und frisch zubereiteten Nudeln über westliches Brot, Speck, frisch gemahlenen Kaffee bis hin zu frischem Obst und Joghurt – die Auswahl wechselt täglich und macht das Frühstück zu einem nie endenden Genuss. Am meisten beeindruckt hat mich die Frische der Zutaten: Die warmen Gerichte wurden stets warm gehalten, die frisch gekochten Nudelsuppen waren perfekt zubereitet und selbst die Beilagen waren erfrischend und aromatisch. Jeden Morgen am Fenster zu sitzen und sie zu genießen, war der perfekte Start in den Tag.
Der Service war noch herzlicher. Beim Einchecken half uns das Personal an der Rezeption tatkräftig mit unserem Gepäck und informierte uns ausführlich über die Frühstückszeiten und den Standort des Speisesaals. Eines Morgens war ich in Eile, und die Kellnerin im Restaurant bemerkte mich und packte mir extra mein Sandwich und meine Milch ein. Sie lächelte mich sogar an und ermahnte mich, unterwegs vorsichtig zu sein. TThe Wandering RoverI recently stayed at the Venice Waterworld Hotel in Shijiazhuang and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The hotel feels quite outdated and in need of renovation. The rooms were dark and old, with furnishings that seemed worn and tired.
One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning—it was old and lacked a proper thermostat, making it difficult to regulate the temperature. Additionally, smoking is permitted throughout the hotel, which was a major downside for me as a non-smoker. The smell of tobacco was pervasive in the hallways and common areas, making the stay less comfortable.
Breakfast lacked food for its guests. They were not being topped up according to the people who were in the restaurant. While the location may be convenient for some, the overall condition and policies of the hotel make it a poor choice for travelers who prefer clean, modern, and smoke-free accommodations. If I return to Shijiazhuang, I will definitely look for a different hotel.

LLG@The hotel is good and the location is convenient close to the subway , and shopping mall . The hotel is surrounded by restaurants with delicious Chinese cuisine and other types which is good to have food at anytime. It’s good to stay at this location if you prefer traveling by train , it’s takes 10 to 15 minutes by taxi to the railway station. The ladies at the reception are providing good service they can also assist you if you need help. It’s a lively place.
