Wonderful stay! My Fiancé and I stayed here during a visit to Quebec and loved it. The hosts were very nice. The room was clean and very well maintained, very quiet and a beautiful home. The breakfast was superb both mornings we spent here and the tea was fantastic. I would highly recommend and we will stay here again in the future if we are local.

There was A BAT in our bedroom here-owners do not offer a refund even when there is a bat in your room. Il y a des chauves-souris dans notre chambre. Les propriétaires n'offrent pas de remboursement même si vous avez des chauves-souris dans votre chambre fixe. We were excited to stay at this beautiful BnB in Sherbrooke. It was lovely inside and in a great location, unfortunately we had a terrible experience. We went to bed at 10pm and at 11pm were awoken by noise and a bat flying over our heads in our room. We packed up our things and left, feeling uncomfortable to stay overnight. There were no available hotels or motels open nearby and we drove all the way through the night to our destination. Upon informing the hosts of our experience and requesting a partial refund, they said it was "incomprehensible that a bat was in our room." They said they would give us a "discount." The "discount" ended up being a refund of the tip we gave them (they prompt you for a tip when you pay at the beginning of your stay). We called again to request a refund for the actual service, and the host was very rude, saying again that he did not believe a 'flying mouse' was in the house. I will never stay here again-if there are bats and we are not even able to sleep there the night, a refund is the least that should be issued. Would highly recommend staying elsewhere as clearly they are not addressing the bat issue seriously.

We had a quiet, peaceful, comfortable night here as a brief getaway. The couple who run it are very kind and thoughtful. It is a beautiful old (1872) home that they have thoughtfully updated and decorated. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. Sherbrooke is a perfect spot to stay for a weekend getaway to the Eastern Townships, 3.5 hours from our home in southern New Hampshire. Highlights for us: Smoked meat and beers at Taverne Alexandre, pastries and bread at Les Vrais Richesses (the best bakery we have ever seen!), wine tasting at Halte des Pellerins. Restaurant Louis is also great for smoked meat and poutine. Apple picking at Heath Orchard in Stanstead on the way to or from Vermont is also fun.

Had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent, in a really beautiful part of Sherbrooke and walking distance to really lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. The house is gorgeous and beautifully restored, and it was interesting to walk around the little garden and house and learn about its history. My absolute favorite part was the breakfasts!! The dinning/sun room is stunning in the fall, and each breakfast (we had three) was unique and delicious, with food sourced from local producers.

The bedroom and common rooms were all beautiful, clean, and full of a sense of history. The food was inventive and delicious, and the service was impeccable. My only wish was that I had more time to enjoy it. It's conveniently located a short walk from many restaurants downtown.
