My family, two adults plus two kids (3 and 5 years old), had a really nice one night stay at this hotel. Yuki and Sirius from check-in greeted us warmly. I had a few questions and they addressed all my concerns professionally. I also requested for bed guards and housekeeping sent them over with the friendliest smile. We stayed at a kids friendly room with two beds. The room is spacious enough for the kids to roam around while I unpacked our belongings. There’s a huge tub that fits all of us, a balcony with a lounge chair for us to chill in the breeze while munching on snacks / viewing the hotel’s outdoor playground and merry-go-round. The hotel’s well maintained and I’d say it’s kids friendly. The design of the outdoor and indoor play area have plenty of open-ended play facilities which I appreciate. They also have a “beach” with sand connecting to the outdoor pool, which btw is smooth and clean, so I felt safe to let my kids play there. There are also plenty of fish in the garden which the hotel allows us to feed and this made it extra fun! The water park wasn’t open during our stay and we missed the train ride (apparently I read the schedule wrong) so hopefully the next time we revisit this hotel we could give these a try!

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Great pool and right on metro. We got a kids room to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.

We all really enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental. There were kids activities, a merry go round, train, many play areas! Bathtub was huge, and all the staff were super attentive, especially Dafne at reception who made sure we knew all our package benefits and added a special "treat" for the adults :) Will definitely be back in the warmer months to use the beautiful pool!

Rooms: we got the older rooms unfortunately. Our friends got the new room which is more chic. Great breakfast though.

Service and facilities are good, sure, next year will come back. Particularly I wish to thank your reception staff Sunny who gave me a good service 👍

Very spacious hotel, a balcony and good amenities. The swimming pools - indoors and outdoors - are excellent. The breakfast had a large selection. Staff are well mannered and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Still love here the most and very happy every time we going back to stay. Service is great, food is great, room is big and clean and good to sleep. The bathtub is super big. The hotel beach is the best

The hotel at first impressions was already great, the staff were helpful and had a free tea dispenser. In the room, it was HUGE and the bathtub was also HUGE. And the minibar had loads of drinks. And the pool had a ship AND a waterslide. So overall, Fantastic hotel! Also, there was a particular staff named Mia who was our main helper and helped with leading us to our rooms and helping with our luggage. Thanks to her too!

Stayed here for a night. It is a bit pricey compare to other hotels but it is total worth it as their rooms are very spacious and clean. Specially enjoyed the big bathtub they have, it's enough for 2 adult or 3 kids to have a dip and relaxx. It's nicer if u you are assisgned to the swimming pool view. Another remarkable in the hotel is their swimming as it is made for families with kids to play around since there are some sand made it like you were in the beach. Service was ok nothing much to say on that as didnt really communicate much with the staff since everything we need was already prepared. Location it can't really say much too as we took taxi the whole time we were in Shenzhen , all i can say is the fare from hotels to where we went didnt exceed 90 RMD so it still cheap compare to Hk. hehe. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet, however when we arrive at the restaurant during their peak hours in the morning we didnt get a proper dining area as the restaurant was very full so we were seated somewhere not so convenient as we need to walk the stairs inorder to get the food. Other than that the food, the servers were all very nice and helpful. Thank you Intercontinental Shenzhen. Will definitely be back again!

We have been to many 5 stars hotels around the world. Here are my main comments about Intercontinental Shenzhen Excellent: staff are very friend and welcoming room service is amazing. Good: facilities are great and there are many things for kids to do in the hotel. To be improved: some areas in the room are dusty and can be cleaned thoroughly. room maintenance can be done more often.

Very good stay and impress with the hotel’s service and room. Great for families! Super convenient, just above train station! Super friendly, helpful and great service by the hotel. Yummy in room dining too 🩷 definitely going to come back again to stay !! They have Walmart opposite the street too 😆👍🏻

We came with our 20-month old toddler for a staycation during the long weekend. We upgraded to the club room and the service and amenities were worth it. Even though it rained on both days, there were plenty to do at the hotel. All three of us had a nice soak in the large bathtub in our room when it rained hard outside. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was huge and comfortable. The hotel was very thoughtful to have even left a child-size slippers, children dental kits, and a toddler mattress in the room. When it wasn't raining, our boy really enjoyed himself at the beach, indoor pool (and hot tub), and the waterpark, and so did we. There was also a huge outdoor playground by Joy Kids that featured several activity hubs like climbs and slides, foam construction blocks, and a merry-go-round ride. The breakfast at Mercado had a great spread that included cold cuts and cheeses, great coffees, freshly squeeze juices, and delightful pastries. We had nice simple afternoon teas and a more lavish evening cocktails at the club, but you should arrive earlier in the evenings to enjoy the full spread. Ms Jennifer was attentive and helpful when we were there and also helped us with a pleasant check-out. We highly recommend this place for families with young children.
