BANANA FUN HOTEL (Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.Gangxia Metro Station)

In SZ CBD location, super clean neighborhood!! This small hotel (mainly youngsters) is about 8 minutes walking distance fr GANGXIA Station (Line 1/10) Exit E w steep elevators for both ways, going up/ down the station (not all exits have both options). Room is exactly as per photo descriptions, w clean bedsheets/ towels and dimmed lights but no water kettle in the room (available only at communal area), no refrigerator either. Water bottles & tooth brushes provided in the room, others eg slippers, shower cap, ear plugs & razor are free to take at the reception area. Hot shower is great with enough pressure. The young receptionists are quite friendly. Entrance is at the white façade, the elevator isn't working but there's a signage to call a number/ staff if you need help w carrying the luggages up. Slight construction work is still taking place right outside reception door so it quite dusty around reception area but fortunately not inside the room. The soundproof is not great in China, it could be an issue if you encounter extremely inconsiderate neighbors "belly laughing" like crazy for hours from 11:30pm and even woke me up at 3am on my first night (despite there's a bilingual sign in the room to keep the noise down). Anyhow, I think that's a rare CRAZY occasion in my travelling records. Would definitely consider returning to this hotel when there's competitive deal offered and if the hotel is able to keep the room cleanliness up to standard.

I really want to give a thumbs up to Banana Fun Hotel. The location is very convenient, right next to Gangxia Subway Station, and it is super convenient to travel. The surrounding business district is very lively, with everything you need to eat, drink, and play. If you go on a family trip, choosing this place is definitely right! This time I chose Banana Fun Hotel for my business trip, and I really made the right choice. The front desk lady was very enthusiastic, and I felt like I was at home as soon as I walked in.
