Room was odd and elerly, though large, with the handbasin in the bedroom. What ruined the day was switching the TV on before breakfast to be confronted with a message saying "F..k you" (but spelt in full!!) on the screen. Wife not impressed. Complained at reception, to be told "Ah yes, it does happen. You'll need to contact customer services if you want any kind of refund for your day being spoiled." Phoned customer services from home and explained how the incident had cast a shadow over the stay. Very little in the way of an apology from the young lady, and a bland "No, we don;t give any refund for that kind of thing.". So what triggers a refund with Premier Inns? An armed assault from a staff member?
