Very pleased with our stay in this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet so we had an excellent nights sleep. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the staff were attentive and helpful. The location suited us fine being on the outskirts of the city with easy access to parks and gardens in the area. I would happily stay here again.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Ich ging morgens durch den schönen kleinen englischen Garten ins Restaurant. Es fühlt sich sehr gut an. Zusätzlich zu normalen Kaffeegetränken kann das Frühstück bestellt werden. Die Rezeption ist durchschnittlich. Es dauert ungefähr 5-6 Haltestellen von der Sheffield University mit der Bahn und es fühlt sich ein bisschen abgelegen an. Es gibt einen großen Supermarkt / Parkplatz in der Nähe. Vom Bahnhof gehen Sie durch den Supermarkt zurück zum Hotel. Ein paar hundert Meter hinter dem Hotel gibt es einige Fastfoods, aber wir sind nicht hingegangen.

Location is good! Near Sheffield City Center. Shower water was so small, that’s the only thing I need to mention. Everything was perfect. Room is really big.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms are fairly basic but better than many other hotels in the UK (although that isn't saying much). The building itself is rather nice. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the hotel itself feels safe and pleasant. However, the rooms are small, in particular, the showers are small... I have friends who would genuinely be unable to squeeze through the small door to enter the shower cubicle.

Robin, on the reception desk, was very professional and friendly and gave me a very warm welcome and a great first impression. The hotel, being directly attached to the Winter Garden, has a great central location and is less than ten minutes by foot to the train station (which is all wheelchair and suitcase accessible). All the breakfast staff were also attentive and helpful even early in the morning.
