Oonas Dive Club

Very nice hotel room

非常舒服的一個酒店，就是晚上蚊子多，得開空調，海灘非常棒，周邊吃飯的地方多。

I arrived at Oonas with my 13 year old daughter (6 dives) and 16 year old son (25 dives) last week. We came purely for the diving, and I had researched online to find the right place. We were very happy with our choice. The dive team are great, and having a dedicated boat is a real bonus, different from some operators who share/swap boats from day to day. All the diving guests on the boat were from this hotel, and pretty much all the hotel guests were on the boat each day, which meant that the whole operation was very slick. The kit is left on the boat throughout the week. All the transfers left on time. The dive resort is in the same building as the hotel rooms and restaurant, which means that everyone is on time, all the time. The hotel room itself was as you would expect, but the restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with good (hygienic/safe) offerings for very fair prices. No tummy troubles. My kids completed their advanced open water, and nitrox courses, using Oonas kit, without a hitch. The teaching was good, and friendly. I was worried that my youngest might feel overwhelmed by the experience, having only dived in a calm lake in the UK for her OW cert, but she was never stressed, thanks to the calm support of the dive team, and equally importantly the help of the boat crew. I would recommend Oonas highly for keen divers of all ages. It hits the spot. I would not recommend the touristy "cultural" excursions around Sharm, but this is in no way a reflection on Oonas. Just stick to the excellent diving support from this one-stop-shop, which is what you came for.

I return to this place year after year it is so good and friendly. I always get treated with friendship. The diving is professional and very organised while still making me feel relaxed and encouraging you to enjoy everything that the diving offers in the redsea.

Went back to Oonas Dive Club for the first time in almost 20 years, very pleased to say that it has hardly changed other than it's now run by Karen - which just adds to the charm. For solo divers, couples, friends or groups, Oonas makes you feel so welcome and part of the family. The hotel is basic but has everything you need, the restaurant does a varied and filling breakfast, and the bar for beer o'clock is always a highlight of the day. Obi Wan is a great dive boat with a brilliant crew and excellent food, and the team at Oonas makes the day on the water fun and informative. When we go back to Sharm it will definitely be to Oonas

I stayed a week in this hotel and went on diving trips with them. All I can say is that I am definitely coming back to this place and will dive again with them. The hotel is very clean and tidy with friendly staff. There is a private beach. Quiet area, lovely bar and restaurant offering fresh breakfast and nice hot meals and drinks. The diving instructors are very experienced professionals who obviously enjoy what they do and make each diving trip feel safe and enjoyable. Rental diving gear is in good condition. I recommend this place for someone who would appreciate a nice place to stay and would love to enjoy diving.

We booked Sharm to complete our open water course we then booked Oonas dive club as our teachers of choice Karen was great setting it all up for us. on arrival we had issues with our hotel due to issues with the tour operator but Peter and the team at oonas helped us sort a room at oonas witch turned out better and what we should have booked in the first place. the training went smooth and the diving was amazing with both me and my partner seeing some amazing sites and we are already looking to book a return trip later in the year. we couldn't have found a better team than the team at oonas to deliver what was a fantastic holiday. we look forward to seeing everyone again soon Willie&Nicole x

Another fabulous stay with the great team at Oonas. Diving was exceptional as always, guided by the brilliant Hassan this time. The entire dive (and hotel) operation is run very smoothly by Karen, with Anita, Pete, Hassan and the full team in the dive centre. Everything went like clockwork. Hotel is as advertised, being comfortable, clean, and importantly, very safe. It isn't a 5 Star hotel, but doesn't claim to be. It ticks all the boxes for me. Breakfast, dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant / bar is always a nice relaxed affair. Can't wait to go back later this year.

This was our first stay here obviously I wanted to stay with a decent center. I can say that every single email sent prior to coming out was answered fully and honestly, Karen was so easy to deal with, took time to make us feel welcome, the hotel reception we’re brilliant, the restaurant staff were superb, food excellent and all the boat crew just so helpful. Our dive guides were brilliant, kind friendly and didn’t get annoyed with myself or my son when we made mistakes, they were just brilliant. A lot of our fellow divers had been holidaying with oonas for many years and although it was our first time everyone mucks in together and looks out for each other. I can’t thank karen and Peter enough, just lovely lovely people who made sure our holiday was as good as they could make it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
