"今回北海道外回り1周旅行で滞在。お値段も安いので3泊予約。ここを中継基地にして知床・羅臼に翌日は阿寒湖・摩周湖巡りをしました。教員住宅をリフォームしたので当然古さはありますがそれなりに綺麗ですし台所には食器から調理器具まで完備、お風呂のシャワーの水圧も充分。トイレも洗浄機能付きです。観光ドライブ帰りには近所？の地元スーパーで海産物を翌日はジンギスカンと観光料金ではない適正な値段で買えてとても満足した食事も出来ました。豪華なホテルで美味しい食事や温泉を希望する方には向いてないと思いますが早起きすると静かで清々しい朝を散歩することもできます。朝食を取ってそれから200kmぐらいのドライブをして夕方には食材を買って帰りお風呂に入って夕飯、美味しいお酒も堪能できとても楽な旅となりました。a uの電波が入りにくいのですがブースターを貸してくれます。オーナーの方も優しくてとても良い思い出になりました。"

"It's a very big old hotel, a bit run down. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a bit far on foot from the ”center” of Utoro (convenience store). Only one elevator for the section of the hotel I was in, is insufficient. You can have toothbrushes at will, but on the other hand to wash yourself, there is only one sample of shampoo per day. In any classic hotel that respects itself, you will find containers of soap for the body, shampoo and conditioner."

"Ich bin dieses Mal wirklich zufrieden mit meinem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Serviceeinrichtungen des Hotels sind erstklassig und bieten nicht nur kostenlose Tassennudeln und Getränke, sondern auch sämtliches Geschirr und Kochutensilien, was mir während meines Aufenthalts großen Komfort verschaffte. Was mich noch mehr überraschte, war, dass das Hotel auch über wunderschöne Thermalquellen verfügt. Während ich die heißen Quellen genoss, konnte ich im Zimmer auch die hervorragende Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang genießen, was wirklich unvergesslich war. Darüber hinaus war das Servicepersonal des Hotels sehr aufmerksam und aufmerksam und hat die Initiative ergriffen, mir die Einrichtungen des Hotels ausführlich vorzustellen und mir so ein tieferes Verständnis für das Hotel zu vermitteln. Insgesamt war dieser Aufenthalt ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich werde dieses Hotel beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder wählen und es meinen Freunden mit Begeisterung weiterempfehlen."

"Fantastic Onsen hotel..located on the hill top, all rooms assigned overlooking into the OKHOTSK SEA, with huge room and shower room are separated from the WC. The hotel provide a shuttle bus from UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL and will pick up guests from here. Another good point is,there is a Airport Bus Liner which comes direct to the hotel to pick guestyfor drop off at Shiretoko Shari Bus terminal enroute to Mambabetsu Airport. The breakfast is really yummy with lots of spread however the buffet dinner is average and the same spread for the two nites I stayed. Where else the ONSEN, I would give a 4/5. Another good point to note is those coming by train to Shiretoko Shari station, opposite is the Shari Bus terminal which provides transer to the UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL.in about 50 mins. Overall Shireto Daiichi Hotel is a big luxurious hotel and they provide shuttle for onwards bus transfer to the SHIRETOKO NATURE PARK which is so beautiful to wander out to seek nature's awesomeness."

"We love the ambience and everything about the hotel! Furnishing are very carefully and intentionally designed, really appreciated the overall cozyness we felt during our stay. Sadly we had to give the bathhouse a miss due to our schedule, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The only confusion we had was the check in/check out timing — the hotel page says check out is 11am, but we got a phone call at 10am telling us we’ve exceeded the check out timing. Page also mentions check in by 6pm, but we were only able to arrive at 9pm+ due to our flight and car rental processes, hence we checked in multiple times with the hotel. They were kind enough to assure us to drive safely as we can check in any time."

Angesichts der Situation, dass Sie einen Hochgeschwindigkeitsbus mit dem Bus nehmen 🏨 Wenn Sie vorab fragen, wenn Sie den Bus mitnehmen, um 🚎 ankommen, nehmen Sie bitte umgehend die Ankunftsverfahren um 5:45 Uhr ab, waschen Sie dann einen Wäscheschrank im Badezimmer ♨️ und essen Sie dann Frühstück 🥢 Plan (die Unterkunftsgebühr beträgt 4,000 yen -). 🚉 Die bequeme Lage vor der Station, aber es scheint, dass es keinen Laden am Morgen gibt, also denke ich, es ist ein guter Service."

"Our third consecutive stay in Japan’s onsen scene brought us to Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort. Though labelled as a 3-star hotel, this resort is the very definition of an underrated masterpiece. From the moment we arrived, it became clear this experience would rival any five-star destination we’ve ever visited. Our room was a slice of paradise—spacious, serene, and offering a panoramic view of the breathtaking sea. Perfect for a moment of calm after a day of exploring. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the window, with its infinite horizon stretching beyond the blue waters. The bath experience was equally indulgent, with Dyson and Refa hairdryers in the public bath area. The soap and shampoo provided in the public baths? Luxurious, premium products that they also retail on-site. A small but significant touch that elevates this from your average onsen. Where do I even begin with the buffet? It was nothing short of culinary theatre. Imagine live cooking stations serving up dishes with the flair of a fine dining restaurant. From sashimi so fresh, it redefined how I think about lean tuna—the texture was almost reminiscent of beef!—to the incredibly generous portions of salmon roe. Each dish was top-tier, but the dessert station truly took my breath away. A unique pumpkin and sweet potato creation was the surprise highlight, and I couldn’t help but indulge in multiple helpings of the organic apple, crisp and fresh like it was picked that very morning. For fitness enthusiasts, there’s even a decent gym—a rarity for many onsen hotels. Meanwhile, the 24-hour lounge provides a range of delectable snacks, all of which are sold in their store. And though the prices may seem steep, the taste makes them worth every yen. The free daily scoop of Peter Beier ice cream was simply divine. Made with Hokkaido milk, the vanilla was already a showstopper, but the pistachio took the experience to another level. After this, it was impossible not to purchase their chocolate truffles—pricey, but easily worth the splurge. The experience extends outside the hotel, where an outdoor foot bath awaits with a view that will make you feel like you’ve entered another world. As long as the weather cooperates, this is an experience not to be missed. In short, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort might officially be a 3-star, but in our hearts, it’s a five-star experience through and through. A perfect blend of luxury, nature, and comfort, it’s an onsen resort that deserves to be on every discerning traveller’s radar."

"屋根有り駐輪場は、バイク３台しか停められない 早い者勝ちで、満車の場合は青空駐車場になります ※青空駐車場が広いから安心して下さい ドミトリーですが、仕切りカーテンの他に引き戸(鍵有り) 枕元にコンセント有り コンビニまで徒歩15～20分ぐらい 同じ場所にレストラン有り 鹿肉とか知床牛ステーキも悩んだが、 土鍋ハンバーグは文句無しの旨さ 人参が真ん中まで煮込んでて美味しい 味噌汁(白味噌)も美味しかったです シャワー室が４つ有りました シャンプーリンスボディシャンプーあります 受付横に喫煙所有り 外に自販機あります、限定コーヒー？美味しいっスね 天まで続く道沿いです"

"We really enjoyed our stay here, it is very clean and comfortable, we thank a lot the owners for telling us about the jumping salmons of Sakura falls, recommending us an izakaya and driving us there. We were only a bit surprised that towels are not included but they can be rent for a cheap price so it's a good environmental friendly initiative. Thanks a lot !"
