We are a muslim family of 5 (2A,3C-13,11,9). The hotel picked us up from the railway station. We arrived early so they sent us to town for us to walk around. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and spacious. ******* luxury vibe. Animals (sheeps, ponies, deers, huskies) are adorable and friendly. We requested to go for horse riding. The hotel took is to a nearby area at the napahai. Around 10mins. We loved it, It was a memorable experience for us all. Perfect experience and we wish to come back if we have the chance. For halal food: we ate in town. Hotel offers no pork no lard no alcohol items as well.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was how responsive and efficient the team was through the group chat they created for guests. It felt like having a concierge in your pocket—fast, friendly, and always ready to help. One moment that really impressed me: I had sent my laundry in (yes, they offer complimentary laundry service—not just machines, but actual washing and drying done for you!), and I noticed one of my socks was missing. I casually asked about it in the group chat while I was having breakfast near the reception area. To my surprise, I saw a staff member literally sprint off from the reception and return shortly after—with my missing sock in hand! That level of attentiveness was genuinely remarkable. There was a little hiccup when the hotel forgot our advance booking for transport. We were initially told to book our own as their cars were all taken, which left us pretty dissatisfied—especially since it wasn’t a last-minute request. But while I was venting to my friend, one of our butlers overheard us and quietly stepped in. She said she'd help us out—and to our surprise, she personally booked a DiDi ride for us using her own money. We were honestly amazed by that level of care, and it meant so much that we later decided to bring her a little taste of our local delight as a thank-you gift. The hotel also offers complimentary afternoon tea, complete with barista-made coffee and cakes—a perfect treat to enjoy while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Speaking of which, the view from my room was incredible—lush, open grasslands that made every moment feel peaceful and grounding. They also offer a car service to take you to nearby points of interest, but to be honest, the hotel itself was such a gem that I could have easily stayed in the whole time. Between the view, the service, and the food (the in-house restaurant is also worth mentioning—delicious meals and lovely ambience), I never felt the need to venture far. This hotel nails it when it comes to comfort, hospitality, and thoughtful touches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Bonus: they have three adorable chowskis roaming around the property, and one of them can even open the lobby door. 🐾 Honestly, that alone made my day. If you’re looking for a comfy, heartwarming escape—this is it. Would definitely return

This place is amazing and is a dream for animal and nature lovers. You get to be near the animals and they would also go up to you as they are not afraid of strangers. From the moment we arrived at the accommodation, we were greeted by the staff who were all very kind and friendly. We woke up with a headache on one day and the staff very kindly went out to buy medicine for us. They also helped us to arrange transportation to and fro places and helped us to book our train tickets as well. As Shangri-La was our first stop in Yunnan, the air in the room felt quite dry and stale and we had some difficulty adjusting. However, the service provided by the staff made up for everything and we were very satisfied with our stay. We will definitely miss this accommodation! ❤️
