Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, nicht weit von der Bushaltestelle, dem Bahnhof, gegenüber befindet sich ein großer Park, etwa fünfzehn Minuten zu Fuß zum Hafen. Das Frühstück ist von guter Qualität, der Service ist gut und der Shuttlebus zum Strand ist kostenlos

Wir reservierten dieses Hotel, das nicht viel von ihm aus den USA wusste. wir bleiben 19 Tage und es ist ein wunderbares Hotel. Die Menschen sind sehr nett und professionell. Das Zimmer ist sehr grundlegende, wie wir suchten und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück hat eine große Vielfalt von Brötchen und Obst mit Eiern und Sauce. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut mit einer breiten Vielfalt. Ich empfehle das an jemanden, der keinen schönen Ort braucht, um mit einem großen Service und sauberen Zimmern zu bleiben. Danke für den großen Aufenthalt.

Location is wonderful, and so is the whole building and surroundings. But comparing price/quality there is really something missing. We spent 3 nights in weekend High season, but there was no management at all.We had to wait more than 3 hours before we could have our room, although we send a mail to ask for an earlier check in than 16.00. Not possible, we have to waited till 16.15 . We have been in many 5 stars places all over the world, but never had this situation. Thanks to Mr Joao de Sousa we we're calm down. He treated and helped us later with everything, and that made our stay good. Our superior terras room was located perfect, clean and cool, but the decoration is for that price some dated. The bathroom very small and not really comfortable. In the adults pool only three umbrellas, to protect all the guests from the sun. sunbeds we're not very clean, and the pool towels, is really not done, in a 5 star Hotel member of the Leading hotels of the world. The quality of the breakfast was 3 stars, only 2 sorts of unripe fruit, and no fresh bread at all. We have had diner several times, at the fantastic Terras outside, but please put mores covering to protect people for the extreme sunburning. quality of the food was good, specially my fish was perfect prepared, and again I say, the very kind service of Mr Joao, David, and several other members of the restaurant was really touching. They did their job more than fantastic. So overall, the place has so many strong assets, location, building, history, surroundings, but some for us important details we're missing, and the feeling that there was no management to talk with, but the location is Portugal on it's best! Was für ein kleines rustikales Geschmack, altes Stil Charme, die Zimmer waren grundlegende, aber sauber und komfortabel. Das Personal war alles so freundlich und hilfsbereit und begrüßte das war ein riesiger Plus. Die Betten wurden jeden Tag frisch gemacht, ohne Fehler und sauber frisches Bettwäsche und Handtücher geliefert. Das Buffet Frühstück war gut mit einer Vielzahl von frischen Obst, Joghurt, Getreide, Salami, Han, Käse und heißem Buffet; Bacon, Sauce Eier! Rollen und süße Gewürze so viel zu wählen. Frische Kaffee und Tee sowie eine Auswahl von Saft.... Für den Preis war es guten Wert.

Das Hotel ist komplett veraltet, als wäre es in den 90er Jahren stehen geblieben. Der Teppich in unserem Zimmer war dreckiger als jeder Teppich den ich in Studenten WGs je miterlebt habe. Das komplette Hotel ist in dem 90er Jahre Holz verkleidet (siehe Bild vom Schrank im Zimmer). Ich kann wirklich die guten Bewertungen nicht ganz verstehen das Hotel ist wirklich geschmacklos. Die Hotelgänge sind dunkel mit blauem, welligem Teppich, die Schalter in den Zimmern (Klimaanlage, etc) sind vergilbt - warscheinlich noch von den Zeiten in denen man auf den Zimmern rauchen durfte. Der Service war gut, aber auch nicht überragend. Sehr wenig Parkplätze vorhanden, wir mussten nach jedem Ausflug ewig auf Parkplatz-Suche gehen. Das Zimmer war sauber. Wirklich schön an dem Hotel ist der umwerfende Ausblick auf den Strand und das Meer. Wer keinen Wert auf Einrichtung legt und auf Teufel-komm-raus ein Strandhotel mit guter Lage möchte ist hier richtig. Allen anderen Rate ich ab. Das Hotel ist wie eine Zeitkapsel zurück in die 90er Jahre.

The staff were excellent. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were also very quiet, none of the usual banging about in the corridors or doors slamming. Outside noise was non existent considering there is a major road nearby. A tram system is within five minutes walk, this will get you to the ferry or railway station. The fares are vey inexpensive, also, a short trip (private transfer) from the airport. There is no alcohol for sale in the hotel, there is a Lidl a very short walk away, breakfast is ok but not great. I will return to this hotel with no hesitation.

Günstig und wahnsinnig zentral gelegen waren wir von diesem Hostel sehr angenehm überrascht. Die Zimmer und das Bad sauber und nichts an den Stockbetten mit den Vorhängen auszusetzen. Wir hatten kein Frühstück dazugebucht aber dann doch jeden Tag dort gefrühstückt weil es ebenfalls günstig und vor allem ausreichend und gut war.
