Leider sehr lieblos und nicht sauber. Sie Handtücher haben auch gerochen.

Das Camp ist gut gelegen um in den Namib-Naukluft Nationalpark zu kommen. Die Häuser sind relativ neu bzw. frisch renoviert. Das Zimmer ist echt groß und gut unterteilt in Wohn- Schlafbereich und Badezimmer. Sauberkeit der Unterkunft war Top! Wenn man den Grill benutzen möchte bekommt man die Ausstattung Saft an der Rezeption übergeben, ansonsten hat man einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Frühstück bekommt man 4 Autominuten in Richtung Nationalpark. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und die Umgebung ist recht ruhig. Das Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit

Simply incredible! Desert Quiver Camp was a very lovely stay. The room was huge and the amenities were fantastic. The views are spectacular in every direction. For dinner, you had the option of self-barbequeing (they provide you with the meat) or going to the buffet at the main lodge 5 minutes drive down the road (breakfast is also served here). We chose the buffet and it was honestly some of the best food we ate in all of Namibia. I think the self-barbequing would be quite fun though and far more secluded if you wanted a fun and peaceful night with your partner, friends or family. The camp is also only about a 5 minute drive to the Sossusvlei gate, so very conveniently located. I would recommend this to everyone.

The quiver camp rooms are very spacious with effective air con. They are nicely decorated and very up together. Modern bathroom facilities, super comfy bed and a sofa to sit on. The kitchen area is fine although the utensil boxes were a bit basic and had things missing. The breakfast is raken at the Sossusvlei lodge 3km down the road which was excellent. The receptionist was very charming and helpful. Areas for potential improvement include some cold water in the fridge, this would have been appreciated at the end of a long hot day on arrival but the biggest issue we noted was the lack of umberellas around the pool. There were 3 which were quickly taken, meaning 5 other people sat huddled in the shade of the bar and couldn't make use of the remaining sun loungers by the pool. I heard them muttering and unhappy and felt slightly guilty under the shade of mine. All in all a very good stay.

Отель нам понравился. Единственное, что не было WiFi, но его не было во всём районе из-за того, что перерубили оптику. В номерах есть кухни и мангалы, но нет никакой посуды, кроме чашек. Даже чайных ложек нет. Быстро начинает течь горячая вода в душе. Номер уютный и красиво оформлен. Есть небольшой бассейн и бар. Здесь хорошо отдохнуть после осмотра дюн. Если вы берёте номер с завтраком или ужином, знайте, что ресторан находится на территории другого отеля.

Son unos cabañitas muy bonitas, con todo lo necesario, tienen cocina y barbacoa. El restaurante para el desayuno y la cena se encuentra a 4km en el otro campamento de Sossusvlei Lodge.

Wir verbrachten während unserer Namibia-Rundreise drei Nächte im Desert Quiver Camp und waren von der Unterkunft sehr begeistert. Die Buchung erfolgte über die Homepage des Anbieters und wir bezahlten umgerechnet 165 Euro inkl. Frühstück für eine Self Catering Unit mit ~30m². Die zahlreichen Wohneinheiten haben deutlichen Abstand voneinander, so dass man seine Ruhe vor den Nachbarn hat. Das Auto kann direkt neben dem Gebäude geparkt werden. Unser Sohn schlief auf der Schlafcouch und fand diese bequem, das Doppelbett war sehr bequem. Im Zimmer gab es eine gut funktionierende Dusche plus Toilette und eine Klimaanlage sowie einen Deckenventilator. Außerdem auf der Terrasse eine Außen-Küchenzeile inkl. Kühlschrank plus Grill. Gegen eine Kaution bekommt man einen Korb mit allen notwendigen Koch-Utensilien. Internet gibt es nur im Haupthaus der benachbarten Sossusvlei Lodge, dort wird auch das Frühstück in Buffetform abgeboten. Alternativ kann man sich einen Frühstückskorb bestellen, den man morgens an der Rezeption abholt und mit dem man dann im Nationalparl frühstücken kann. An zwei Tagen haben wir diese Variante gewählt und können sie absolut empfehlen, da der Korb keine Wünsche offen lässt: ein Kanne Kaffee, eine Kanne heißes Wasser plus Teebeutel, 1 Liter Milch, Orangensaft, Joghurt, Müsli, Brot/Brötchen, Käse, Wurst,... Die anderen Touristen im Nationalpark schauten unseren gedeckten Frühstückstisch ziemlich neidisch an :-) An einem Morgen frühstückten wir in der Sossusvlei Lodge und das Buffet war auch spitze inkl. Eierspeisen-Station, an der u.a. nach Wunsch Omelette frisch zubereitet wurde. Zum Abendessen kann man entweder das tolle Buffet der Sossusvlei Lodge buchen oder man nutzt den Grill der Unterkunft. Die Zutaten bestellt man sich bei der Sossusvlei Lodge und sie werden dann gegen Abend geliefert. Das Camp hat einen netten Poolbereich, man darf aber auch den größeren Pool der Sossusvlei Lodge benutzen. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen, da sie - speziell wenn man die sehr abgelegene Lage bedenkt - sehr viel bietet. Der Preis ist zwar nicht unbedingt günstig, in Anbetracht des Gebotenen aber auf alle Fälle fair. Alle Mitarbeiter waren zudem sehr freundlich und sympathisch.

Teil der von mir selbst von A-Z organisierten Namibiarundreise zu dritt. Verbrachten zwei Nächte hier. Mitarbeiter mehr als freundlich, fröhlich und hilfsbereit, wie überall in Namibia. Man spürt die Lebensfreude. Frühstück ca. 3km entfernt in einer anderen Lodge neben dem Eingang zum Nationalpark. Man wohnt mitten in der Wüste, mit Tieren usw. Rundflüge mit 600 Euro mehr als überteuert leider. Aber die Fahrt mit dem Wagen war schon mehr als beeindruckend. (Supermarkt neben dem Eingang zum Park super günstig und Personal fröhlich.)

We found this place great! The pool and bar is situated up on a cliff with stunning views. Pool was beautiful and clean, rooms fantastic. It's self catering so you either bring your food or order dinner at nearby resort which is a 5 minute drive. Wilderbeast and Jackel come in close to the rooms. Stunning views of the landscape. Could sit at the bar and pool area all day.

Standard twin room is modern, neat & spacious. Nice view of the desert. Bed is very comfortable & clean. Check in & check out was efficient & quick, reception is very helpful, polite & professional. Buffet dinner had plenty of options. Staffs are friendly, helpful & speak English.

Chalets were lovely and well spaced out so didn’t feel on top of each other. Inside of chalets were comfortable with plenty of space and great shower. It is an open plan arrangement including the toilet so no door or separate room. There is an outdoor kitchen at the chalet and a bbq and I believe you can order supplies at reception. The main hotel for breakfast and dinner is a 5 minute drive away but also very pleasant and the restaurant is a buffet, which includes a BBQ. The highlight for us was the stars, they are amazing and so clear, so remember to look up!

Comfortable stay - the pool was great (although on the cooler side). The sunset by the poolside was amazing. Dinner and breakfast was at their sister lodge (Desert Camp) which would have been great to stay at, but I assume would have cost us much more! No issues - beds were comfy, and staff were helpful.

I had a great stay here. The customer service was amazing, and transfers were seamless and well-coordinated. The highlight of my trip was the Sossusvlei & Deadvlei Excursion arranged by the hotel. The guide was exceptional - deeply knowledgeable, engaging, and enthusiastic. I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
