Er wollte einen günstigen und fröhlichen Ort zum Schlafen während der Begegnung Les Etoiles de Pau 5Stern. Etwa 5 Minuten Fahrt von der Veranstaltung, gute Autopark im Hotel. Sehr freundlicher Service vom Mann auf dem Desk, der uns 2 zusätzlichen Kuchen und eine andere Schranke gefunden, während wir Abendessen waren. Resonanz Restaurant innerhalb von 500 yards, was am Ende der besetzten Tage ein Göttin war. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber und hatte eine brillante Dusche. Kostenlose wi-fi, große plus. Alles in allem guten Wert für Geld und eine effiziente angenehme Erfahrung.

Die Unterkunft war sehr spät angekommen, aber die Rezeption war noch offen und wurde schnell registriert. Das Zimmer war warm und konnte unser zubereitetes Essen in der Mikrowelle erhitzen - gute Einrichtungen.

Easy to find, check in quick Friendly staff. Reception only open till around 7 so no staff about after that but saw people self checking in with no problems. The hotel is a five minute walk to a shopping centre with plenty of eateries and a big supermarket and there is a nice looking bar there too. Within a few minutes drive/ten mins walk there are plenty of takeaways and a couple of late night alimentations. Bus stop into the centre was outside the shopping centre too although we had a car and had no problem with the free parking at the hotel. We had a Superior Studio which looked just like the pictures and was clean and well kept with good amenities, Stove top, Microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc. No air conditioning unfortunately but the fan is the room was strong and did a good job. The shower head was loose in our room (315) which we remedied by wedging something on it to keep it upright. Didn’t mention to reception at the time as we kept forgetting but probably an easy fix. The shower was the only problem apart from the size of the glasses which are way too small for a beer or glass of soda. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Obwohl es eine 24-Stunden-Check-in-Maschine und einen großen und privaten Parkplatz gibt. Aber der Geruch von Tabak durch die Gänge. Kleinere Einzelbetten als in anderen Hotels. Nur Nordisch, im Sommer. Die Luft konnte nicht reguliert werden. Es war kalt draußen, es regnete und 18 Grad. Es konnte keine Wärme wählen. Es war 21 Grad reguliert, wenn man es auf 25 Grad aufstellte, es stand, aber kurz danach, es ging wieder 21 Grad an. In der Nacht wurde sie nur zweimal angezündet, einer um 6 Uhr, machte Geräusche und weckte uns. Wenn wir sie bei 25 und ausschalten, warum wird sie allein angezündet und 21 Uhr, in Schlafstunden? Sehr gerechtes Menü, fast sauer, und fehlen 30 Minuten für die Schließung, mit mehreren erschöpften Gerichten und wenig Ruhe. Nichts mit den B&Bs an der Baskenküste zu tun. Ich glaube nicht, dass sie zurückkommt.

Stayed 3 nights in Pau and fully enjoyed it. Even before the arrival, staff has been responding promptly to my requests and could immediately relate to them when they greeted me upon check-in. Room is very spacious, fridge is cold (unlike the usual mini-bar in most hotels) and has everything I wanted: safety deposit box, water kettle with tea, coffee and cream, bathroom amenities, a good hairdryer, and even a heated towel rack (this one really beats me!) Parking on site is very convenient, however the parking spaces have very narrow space in between cars so dents could be possible when people aren't careful opening their doors (I got one, unfortunately). Pau is a very nice town. Besides visiting the famous castle of Henri IV, strolling around town is very pleasant. For restaurants, I highly recommend L'interprète serving fine foods at very reasonable prices.

We arrived here following a long drive from the UK, after arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a sign advising the reception was closed and to head for the reception at the Campanille hotel, we were met by a very friendly lady who checked us in and gave us details about breakfast. We then walked back to the hotel and on entering the rooms we were nearly knocked out by the smell of tobacco smoke like someone had smoked themselves to within an inch of their lives, we then went to the room my daughters were in and this was even worse, so we headed back to reception to state the rooms were uninhabitable and the lady was apologetic and changed our rooms and we then returned to check these out, only to once again find the rooms smelling like a smokers death room so I returned to reception to be told sorry the management is not here so nothing we could do, so for my health after being in hospital after suffering badly with COVID and my family we had no option but to check out and booked into another hotel which had smoke free rooms. This hotel said we cannot stop people smoking in the rooms and could only apologise and if you do complain cannot offer a refund as no manager at the hotel also I asked the reception about fire safety if this is happening and got a shrug of the shoulders very concerning attitude to guest safety. Will be fighting this all the way and will never stay at a premiere classe ever again if this is how guests are treated.

Mein Mann und ich genossen unsere jüngste Aufenthalt im Hotel Gramont. Es erinnert uns beide an die Art und Weise, wie Hotels in Europa vor vielen Jahren (in guter Weise) waren, aber mit einigen modernen Upgrades. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir wurden in ein riesiges Zimmer (mehr als eine ganze Wohnung) mit schönem Blick auf den Platz aufgerüstet. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte großartig, und die Fenster und Schließfächer blockierten wirklich irgendwelchen Straßenlärm. Das Zimmer selbst war sauber und komfortabel, und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Das Dekor ist vielleicht etwas köstlich, aber für jeden von sich. Darüber hinaus ist die Lage groß - nahe vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und gute Restaurants. Während wir uns im Hotel während unserer Studie nicht mit Parkplätze befanden, konnten wir in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß öffentliche Parkplätze finden. Wir würden sicher zurückkehren, wenn wir uns wieder in der Gegend finden.

It takes courage, vision and talent to patiently restore a very nice historic hotel that probably had gone to seed. The remake is stunning, elegant and a delight. With a pleasant staff, attractive art work throughout, thoughtfully redecorated rooms with tasteful updates in colors and furniture, they are hovering in four star range. The breakfast was really good. Kudos for having bread and pastries from local patisseries rather than the assembly line mass produced kind. Coffee, juice, jams, yogurt and fresh fruit all are of fine quality, unlike so many modern ”business class” hotels. The miniature parking lot serves the purpose, but it is awkward when staff bicycles are parked xt to you. They should remember you can't open the passenger door with a handlebar next to your window! There are physical limits to rehabbing a bathroom. But they could have brighter lighting over the sink. It is a charming hotel, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.
