Wir waren für 4 Tage hier, jedes Hotelpersonal war sehr begeistert und sie würden die Initiative ergreifen, um mich zu begrüßen. Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr gut. Auf einem kleinen Hügel, etwa 30 Kilometer vom Flughafen Seronella entfernt, bietet das Zimmer einen Blick auf die Serengeti-Steppe. Die Hardware-Einrichtungen sind akzeptabel, die sanitären Einrichtungen sind relativ sauber und es ist völlig akzeptabel. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen, besonders mit den gebratenen Nudeln. Ich denke, sie haben mich direkt zum gebratenen Essen gemacht.

When we arrived at Mbuzi Mawe, I felt like I had stepped onto a movie about a safari. Yes we stayed in “tents” but these are tents with real floors, real beds, hot water, and 24-hour electricity (and Wi-fi). At the same time this is very much the wild as when our escort came to take us to dinner he pointed out several African Buffalo less than 5 yards from the doors of our tents and we absolutely heard the lions at night. Our dinner was excellent - be sure to try the Serengeti Balls (they are amazing chocolate cake balls) - and the local Tanzanian dish was highly flavorful. This was the only place on our safari where we were given the option of picking what we wanted for lunch the following day in some level of detail which was nice. We had also arranged a brief walking safari. We were accompanied by a nature guide who provided us with an interesting orientation to the flora and fauna of the area and adapted our route when part of the path was blocked by buffalo. We were also joined by one of the park rangers too. The walk was not long or difficult and it was a nice chance for us to see things on foot instead of from a vehicle and is something I would recommend if you have the chance.

When the hot water is turned on, you put it to the temperature that feels right but then it fluctuates quickly between boiling and cold. You can hear pol screaming while showering as you walk through the corridor. Window drapery is literally falling apart Linens towels and bathrobes are stained Outlets are faulty and stop and start working Bathroom faucet doesn't work properly All the fixtures, toilet, shower, bathtub are extremely dated Toilet handle doesn't work properly and the toilet runs for 15 min after every flush WiFi BARELY works in the common area for a couple hours in the evening. Light fixtures next to the beds don't work. Faux leather chair cushions are very worn. Wooden floors haven't been refinished since installation in 30 years. Every time you took a step it sounded like you would go through the floorboards.
