Hotel Rural la Casa de Irene

Disappointing stay which started badly. I rang the number on the door and the owner was abrupt and didn’t say hello just yes, before asking if I had a reservation. After an 18km walk it was not a great start. The room was pleasant but very cold. The bathroom shower had no base so it’s a wet room and the floor would flood. It had dated disabled points and I’m not sure they were fit for purpose. There are no facilities at the property to eat or drink and it’s a 9 minute walk to the nearest two bars run by the same family. It would have been nice if there was a fridge and kettle to make hot drinks. There wasn’t any soap in the bathroom! At supper I ate in bar Java which was ok. Gazpacho, followed by Chicken, slightly undercooked though and flan. There’s a lovely village and church and beautiful scenery. Staff were friendly at the bar and were also responsible for the Casa Irene guests. We need access to hot drinks,a warm bedroom and washing facilities which is not a lot to ask surely…

El trato al cliente nefasto.Los dueños son unos impresentables.Solo quieren cobrar y ya si no hay agua caliente es problema del cliente. Antes de reservar mejor asegurarse de que todo está ok xq si no podéis tener problemas desagradables con los dueños
