"Das Hotel liegt auf einem Berg, von dort hat man Ausblicke auf das Meer und den Hafen, ist aber nicht allzu schön. Sehr praktischer Service für die Lieferung zum und vom Hotel. Sie rufen ein Tuk-Tuk und stehen in wenigen Minuten an der Rezeption; Sie müssen sich nicht jedes Mal nach dem Abendessen den Hügel hinaufmühen. Im Hotel können Sie Touren rund um die Inseln buchen, die Preise sind die gleichen wie überall sonst, aber die Abholung vom Hotel erfolgt zu spät. Wenn Sie tauchen und sonnenbaden möchten, ist dies eine normale Option. Wenn Sie jedoch nach Coron Island zu Lagunen und Seen fahren, ist es besser, ein Unternehmen mit einer früheren Abreise zu suchen. Die Zimmer sind ok, die Betten sind gut. Alles ist sauber, heißes Wasser ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist gut, es ist gut, dass es früh um 6.30 Uhr losgeht. Der Gruppentransfer vom/zum Flughafen kostet 250 Pesos pro Person, die Fahrzeit beträgt 40 Minuten."

"My overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there."

"No elevator. Even going to their rooftop. You have to climb to 6th floor to go to their rooftop bar. Not advisable for senior citizen and PWD. A lot of stairs, even going to the man lobby, you have to climb stairs."
