Seaview Holidays - Salterns Village

A Perfect Family Getaway at Seaview Cottages Our stay at Seaview Cottages was simply wonderful. The cosy accommodation was perfect for our little family, providing both comfort and charm. Its ideal location made travelling and sightseeing so easy, allowing us to explore plenty of nearby attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our trip. Would both recommend and stay again!

A lovely stay organised by super helpful staff. I called Seaview directly and spoke Sarah who was so helpful. She booked the accommodation and the ferry for a good price. On arrival the staff member was so friendly. The site is so quiet and the nature reserve beautiful. 3 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins to the lovely village of seaview. The accommodation is fairly basic but spotless. There is not dishwasher or washing machine but this was not an issue for a short stay. TV and Wi-Fi was at times glitchy but we weren't in the house enough for this to be an issue or necessity. The wet room set up is fine but another bath mat would have been a good idea as the floor obviously got wet after several showers.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Seaview holiday home 2 bedroom Cottage The location is perfect ,with so many great attractions nearby. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio, and on one morning we even saw a rainbow! The views of the sea and passing ships was beautiful to see. There was plenty of space around the cottage for the kids to run and explore safely, and we enjoyed some relaxing countryside walks straight from the door. We also visited The Needles and Shanklin, both worth the trip and not too far away. We even stopped at a farm coffee shop were we experiences a sunflower field . Overall, Isle of Wight was a peaceful holiday , we’d love to return!

Had a great stay again here, chalet clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Great location, fab beach across the road, quiet, Rebecca and Sarah great in reception and are so friendly and welcoming nothing is to much trouble. My only complaint would be cars!!! Thought everyone had to park in the communal field parking area unless you have a blue badge, but everyone seemed to bring there cars up and park outside there chalets, and they had no blue badges displayed in there cars. So lots of car noise on the gravel outside in the evenings and car doors being slammed. Does state in the folder that is issued that no parking outside chalets but people pay no attention to it. End of our stay the scooter rally had started so lots of scooters in the facility, so got quite noisy towards the end of our stay. Maybe all the scooter clubs staying should of been grouped together in accommodation so other holiday makers staying weren't disrupted with noise, we had some men who were fairly loud and liked a drink, so we will definitely avoid staying when the scooter rally is on. But all in all a fab location and great stay.

Booked a short family break here and it was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach, with welcoming and helpful staff. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a great family getaway.

Seaview is a little known gem on the Isle of Wight, and the Salterns village, set on a nature reserve, is impossible to beat. For a relaxing break with the sea five minutes walk away, for rocky beaches and sandy coves, it's a treasure, and Seaview Holidays are a superb group of people dedicated to giving you an amazing holiday.
