Scarborough Inn

This is a beautiful place to stay! It has just the right mix of vintage meets modern decor, and it has all the charm to make you feel at home! Staff are very welcoming and try to do whatever they can to accommodate you, and the food was excellent! I even decided last minute to stay an extra night because it was so nice! I highly recommend, and I will be returning for sure!

We had a fantastic time at the wonderful Scarborough Inn! Sne and Jackie were fabulous hosts, who took care of all our needs and regaled us with local stories and info. Sne’s taste and attention to detail are wonderful, from the lively and nostalgic soundtrack playing on the front porch to the comfy lobby filled with retro knickknacks. And note: Ocean City is a terrific off-season destination! We visited during a November weekday, when we had the town pretty much to ourselves and greatly enjoyed walking the boardwalk and visiting the shops and sites that were open, while using the Scarborough Inn as our warm and welcoming home base. We would give more than 5 stars if we could.

The place is beautiful, the service incredible, I can’t say enough things about this place, every detail in everything that they do is just amazing and the breakfast were so yummy … I’ll definitely go back!

This is our go-to place in OCNJ. Attentive and friendly staff and amazing luxury in a peaceful corner of the town. The rooms are always spotless and the staff always go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Short walk to the boardwalk or shops in town. Breakfast exceeds expectations.

I was back in OC for the Porsche Reunion. The Friday night Porch Party was so much fun. Happy people sitting on the porch eating and drinking, chatting and laughing. So good❤️ While I was there I booked for next year! This is truly my favorite place down the shore. I also booked for Christmas shopping again! It's like walking into the set of Cheers. "Sometimes you wanna go Where everybody knows your name, And they're always glad you came". I walked in and was greeted with an enthusiastic and warm welcome. My bags were grabbed, and check-in was done! Sne, Monica, and Jackie are top-notch, attentive without hovering. All staff were truly on their A game! There are always little goodies by the fireplace that add to the warm character of the Inn. Attention to detail and accommodating. Refreshing in this day and age. Breakfast was fast, fresh and delicious. The conversation was lively and the coffee was hot & plenty. The rooms are a must experience. It's not your typical Jersey Shore experience. Clean, uncluttered, and welcoming. Oversized and Upscale! They are at the right temperature, and the bedding is snuggly. Pillows are abundant with crisp white sheets. The bathrooms feel like you are in an Architectural Digest magazine. They are super clean and well-appointed. The Boardwalk was so busy! Having all the Porsches on the boards was exciting. December in Ocean City is also special. The time of the year the boardwalk is ethereal. The vast open space that is normally bustling is quiet. Like seeing an old friend who was lonely. Christmas shopping in OC has become a holiday tradition in our family. The amount of hard work and pride that has gone into making The Scarborough Inn the place to be on the Jersey Shore is evident. Can't wait to go back!

The Scarborough Inn is wonderful. Accommodations are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing—makes you feel like you have truly escaped to a seaside resort that honors its history while providing modern comforts. The owner, Sne, and his staff are fabulous hosts. I highly recommend!
