Myself and husband were married at Bagdenhall in Feb 2022, we had no idea about the process of getting married and they helped us through it all, could not thank Barry enough for going above and beyond on our wedding day making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. We have since been back every year on our anniversary and the staff are lovely every time we visit. In Feb 2024 I became severely ill on our wedding anniversary whilst at Bagdenhall, the staff, again were amazing and were so supportive that they allowed my husband and I to go back and visit the room we’d stayed in on Feb 2024 to help with the trauma and PTSD. We have been back since this incident and the staff have been so thoughtful and helpful everytime we visit. Absolutely can’t fault them, the entire staff team are lovely and so welcoming and we’ll continue to go back every year on our anniversary. Also, the grounds of Bagdenhall are always well kept with stunning views.

Another birthday afternoon tea. There is a distinct lack of staff and the service was practically non existent. Had to go and find staff 3 times. The afternoon tea was a bit dry. Once the food rack was put on the table we had no further acknowledgement. We wanted to upgrade to the champagne tea, but no-one was there to ask or offer. Again with the bill we waited 30mins then went yo the desk. I know it was busy but that does NOT excuse poor service. The hall and grounds are beautiful. The staff when we did get hold of them were pleasant. Will be look elsewhere next year. Shame its gone down hill so much.

We went mid-week for afternoon tea on a beautiful day. The grounds were spectacular. The hotel was also host to a conference. We asked for tea for two, two ham sandwiches and a shared bowl of chips. The bread was either stale or recently removed from freezer, the ham was processed (awful), the chips OK. The bill was c.£35. We left feeling that ‘food wise’ we’d have been better off to buy a meal deal from a high street shop. A shame that the experience was below average. The potential for Bagden Hall to wow its guests with pleasant staff and great environment exists, it just needs to give better value for money to its diners/guests. I write now because this is our second below par experience at the Hall over recent months. I am sure we will try again this year to see if we have just been unlucky in our previous experiences.

Set in beautiful grounds this hotel is lovely. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was super for both dinner and breakfast, knowledgeable staff and a good range of choices, even for those with allergies. Our rooms were great. Maybe a little on the dated side, but well decorated with a super bath and shower and spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay again!

We cannot recommend Bagden Hall highly enough. Our Golden Wedding party for 90, that included a fully served three course meal, ran like clockwork. Our guests loved it - excellent food, exceptional staff and all in a country house hotel with good views and large, well kept grounds. 62 of our guests stayed overnight and enjoyed a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast. Bagden Hall is authentic with fair prices and a staff that seems happy and totally works as a team. We experienced this throughout as we planned the event. Marisa, our coordinator, was very helpful, friendly and efficient - which appeared typical of everybody at Bagden Hall. From our experience you can trust them totally with your celebration. This place is absolutely beautiful and stunning. On arrival we were overwhelmed with the fabulous grounds and elaborate interior. We were welcomed immediately by a really professional, classy, efficient manager on reception, who checked all our details for the afternoon tea were correct and showed us to our table. She was brilliant. The bar staff were so friendly, fabulous and could not do enough for us. The welcome was just so warm, inviting and special, by everyone. The room where you have the afternoon tea is just so lovely. The staff are so attentive and cannot do enough for you. The afternoon tea was totally amazing and I am a very fussy eater but they adapted their menu for me and I was so happy. It was perfect! The chocolate brownies are the best I have ever had! The food was just delicious and such good quality and the strawberries, chocolate and Champagne were the icing on the cake! It really was like a Fairytale afternoon and we felt so spoilt and so special. It was completely and totally Exquisite! We all left extremely happy and felt like Royalty and I honestly cannot say I have ever had an experience like that. A special thankyou to the wonderful lady manager and her amazing staff for such a beautiful, relaxing and magical experience. You are all a credit to Bagden Hall and we will definitely be back! Thanks again!

!8 of us went for a meal on the 6th of April, my sisters 80th birthday. Unfortunately the food was absolutely atrocious, everyone complained about it. It really spoiled the memory and my sisters day. I have given them a week to respond to our complaints, nothing not even the decency of a reply, we will now never go again and we were regular customers, and never a problem. £30 per head for inedible and barely warm food. Very disappointing!

We stayed in room 3 for two nights, a large, comfortable room with views over the well maintained gardens. Hotel sits in extensive grounds including pond fountain and folly. Staff very friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Had an evening meal in restaurant both nights and could not fault them.

Came to a family wedding today arrived at 4pm, staff were great but unfortunately not enough seating anywhere in the room, we asked for the main room to be open as a couple of us needed to sit down it's was stated the main room would not open till 7pm. The fish and chip cones were luke warm and full of grease and the burger bites were nothing special. It is a long time to stand for 3 hours and have nothing to eat that was substantial. We left early from the wedding.
