Verdura Resort, a Rocco Forte Hotel

"Das Produkt ist teuer, aber hochwertig. Die Facilities sind durchweg 5 Sterne. Die beiden Golfplätze sind sehr gute Resortplätze mit einwandfreien Greens und einigen Schwächen im sonstigen Greenkeeping (Mitte Oktober). Es gibt viel sehr gutes Personal, welches gut englisch spricht. Das Publikum ist international und weitgehend kultiviert. Schön ist das bikesharing im Resort mit vielen ordentlichen Fahrrädern. Es gibt verschiedene ordentliche bis gute Restaurants. Aber: Die Restaurantpreise und insbesondere die Getränkepreise sind unangemessen hoch. Peinlich ist die Berechnung von Getränken und Snacks aus der Minibar. Für das Zimmer mit Frühstück zahlt man schon reichlich. Da muss in den Restaurrants nicht so hingelangt werden. Dem Gast wird auf jede Rechnung auch noch 10% Tipp aufgedrängt, den er explizit ablehnen muss, wenn er ein anderes oder kein Trinkgeld geben will. Das ist nicht schön und schmälert das Wohlbefinden."

"Neue Struktur, sauberes und gepflegtes Zimmer, sehr sauberes Badezimmer; freundliches, höfliches, einladendes und gleichzeitig sehr diskretes Personal. Gutes Frühstück, es gibt auch eine herzhafte Option mit einer Auswahl an Wurstwaren, Eiern, Ricotta, Oliven und ausgezeichnetem typisch sizilianischem „Cunzato-Brot“. Es liegt ganz in der Nähe von Sciacca und ist daher super praktisch, um die Stadt zu erkunden! Empfehlenswert und wenn ich wieder nach Sciacca komme, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen."

"Casa Dell Aromatario is modern, light-filled, beautifully decorated with plants and has all the right touches. It appears that no expense was spared in constructing the B&B from an ancient church property. The room where you take breakfast has been carved out of rock and is an architectural beauty. Although it was too chilly to take advantage of the rooftop terrace it looks perfect for late afternoon drinks or just lounging and taking in the view. But what makes this place really special are the hosts, Silvio and his brother Carmelo. They are the most accommodating and helpful hosts with restaurant recommendations and other information and will do anything to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible."
