Ravello View

This is a family run hotel who make you feel like you’re part of the family! They couldn’t do enough to make sure you have a fantastic stay! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the views from our balcony and all outdoor areas are the best I’ve seen on a hotel! I’ve just left and am already looking into coming back very soon with the rest of my family!

We stayed here 4 nights and really loved the view from our room and the best food!! Really the BEST :) Very nice welcoming, location is a bit far away when you are travelling by bus but you’ll get used to it ;) Definetly would come back one day in summertime to enjoy and just rest.

A warm and friendly family run hotel. Rooms are amazing, comfortable and well decorated. The breakfast offers every choice you can think of, extremely well presented. The outside dining area has magnificent views across the valley. Dinner is a delight, great quality, cooked to perfection and served by the family. The evening view over the valley with the lights of Ravello adding to an amazing atmosphere. The family are there to assist at all times. This is truly a gem among hotels. Once you stay there you will want to return.

We spent two weeks at Ravello View. We chose it after seeing the pictures and it’s location. Everything about this hotel is amazing - the first morning you wake up and see the sunrise over Ravello, the cleanliness of the hotel, the swimming pool, the breakfast in the morning which is outside, and the helpfulness and friendliness of Antonio and his family. The location is overlooking Ravello, which means you can get away from the crowds easily. It’s only a 30 minute walk to the centre of Ravello (it looks further than it is). It is a 45 minute walk to Amalfi. We did it several times (approx 1000 steps from Amalfi). If you are reasonably fit you will have no problems. There are some great restaurants nearby, and Ravello View also do good food in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this hotel, it has a smaller number of rooms which means it never feels busy. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a most enjoyable experience in a location where unfortunately many establishments take tourists for granted - not so at Ravello View - we were treated with the utmost attention and courtesy and will certainly stay here again when in Scala

Fantastic family-run hotel with great food in a peaceful spot on the Amalfi coast. Antonio was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. The view from the balcony, swimming pool and restaurant is incredible. From the hotel you can wander into Scala for more great views and restaurants or get a short bus to Ravello or Amalfi.

Ravello View is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Antonio, and family, for your incredible hospitality. Where to start? Ravello View is an outstanding hotel. Antonio and his family make you feel like part of the family with the warmest of hospitality. The view (as you may guess from the name) is superb. It’s breathtaking, and each room has a balcony looking across at Ravello, and the mountains behind it. We could also see the sea from our room! On a coastline with star studded restaurants and world famous food, we found our favourite place to eat was Ravello View. Antonio’s family cook dinner for guests on the terrace each evening (if you ask), and it’s delicious. You can even make specific requests, tip - ask for a lasagne, it’s special. The pool is perfect. We visited in July and you get the sun from 8.30am until 5.30pm, if sunbathing is your thing. There are plenty of sun loungers, and even though the hotel was full for parts of our stay we had the pool to ourselves so often. Even when we didn’t, it’s so spacious it’ll never feel crowded. Know too that the pool is spotlessly clean. One of the most important things to know when considering Ravello View is that Scala (the local town) is a brilliant choice over Ravello (25 min walk), Amalfi or Positano. Those towns are extremely busy, and you will be so unbelievably thankful you can retreat to this little paradise after visiting those places. All of which are easily accessible by buses, walks (if you’re fit) and taxis. So you can head to Amalfi or Ravello easily for the day, lunch or dinner. There is so much value in Ravello View, it’s hard to put this into words. Your stay will be memorable, and you’ll want to share this little gem of a hotel with all your friends and family. Such a shame that we were able to stay only one night....if you can stay for a longer period you are very fortunate! This family run hotel has such an amazing heart and its easy to feel as soon as you enter the hotel. Antonio, his charming wife and mum and dad have a wonderful ability to make you feel part of their family and will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Even though we experienced wet and cool weather, we loved sitting on the beautiful and traditional terrace looking out over to Ravello town, sipping prosecco and enjoying all the tasty nibbles. We didn't even bother going into town for dinner but decided to stay and had one of the best dinners during our stay, lovingly cooked by Edith. A wonderful memory for us to hold. Breakfast was again served on the terrace, a very good selection plus the offer of a cooked breakfast too, this was the only accommodation during our travels that offered this lovely start to the day. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable with a darling little private balcony again overlooking the town. Highly recommend!

We are a party of 4, who have stayed here for the last 8 years(Covid excluded) Its like visiting friends and family, everyone is so friendly. Antonio is so professional and helpful to everyone and Edith is lovely and an excellent chef. Of course Michele and Eugenia are such lovely generous people, it's a pleasure returning to Ravello View. The rooms have been prepared to the highest standard and are immaculately clean Their Lunchtime and evening food is Italian food at its best. And breakfast, has a vast choice and taken in the most beautiful and breath taking setting. We hope to return next year, God willing. Chris, John, Sue and Clive
