My Favorite New Sausalito Getaway This beautiful bungalow is an absolute gem! It's perfect for a romantic getaway, solo writing escape, or a long weekend in a beautiful California town. We loved absolutely everything about this place, and the host was so friendly, helpful, and a very cool dude. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comfortable cottage above the beaten path Don't let the 86 stairs and parking challenge keep you away from this quaint cottage on the hill above the bay! Beautiful million dollar views of both the bay and Sausalito skyline from your private deck where you can enjoy morning coffee as the sun rises over the bay. A short walk away is Golden Gate Market, a convenient neighborhood market with friendly helpful staff and surprisingly well stocked with groceries and delicious prepared food packaged for take-a-way meals. The Italian restaurant Aurora is also within walking distance - fabulous food, friendly service and away from the crowds. I loved the location of this property as I felt more like a Sausalito local and less of a tourist but if it's the tourist's experience you desire it's just a scenic walk away down Bridgeway along the bay. Best of both worlds.
