"Die Lage des Hotels ist in Ordnung, und das Äußere ist insgesamt akzeptabel (70 von 100 Punkten). Am schlimmsten war der junge Mann an der Rezeption; er diskriminierte ganz offensichtlich Chinesen und weigerte sich, uns mit unserem Gepäck zu helfen, als wir nach oben gingen. Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer gebucht, und er sagte uns, alle seien belegt. Erst nach einer Diskussion führte er mich in ein anderes Stockwerk, wo alle Doppelzimmer leer standen. Es ist ein furchtbares Hotel, das ich absolut nicht empfehlen kann."

"Ich habe eine Nacht in einem Zimmer verbracht. Der Wasserdruck im Badezimmer war sehr niedrig. Auch das Frühstück war ungenießbar. Ich hatte lediglich um warmes Essen gebeten, und nach 20 Minuten bekam ich das gleiche kalte Essen aus der Küche. Wie kann man nur an ein paar Cent sparen und dabei so stur sein? Als ich es bereute, gegessen zu haben, kümmerte sich das Personal nicht darum und räumte den Teller einfach ab. Ich kann dieses Hotel keinem Touristen empfehlen."

"I wanna thank the owner Keshab and his lovely family for the warm stay at Mona lisa hotel. I planned to stay only 2 nights here during my visit at Chitwan park but i extended for 2 more days because i felt so at home in Mona Lisa. The rooms where nice with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a good shower. The food was delicous and of good quality. The hotel uses organic food from there own farm. The son of the owner Imesh showed me around the farm which was really nice to see. I shared my travel plans with the owner Keshab and he arranged my transport to my next destination Lumbini and brought me in contact with a guide so i could make plans for a hike later on in Pokhara. I really recommend this place to stay when visiting Chitwan national park! Much love to Keshab, his family and the staff🙏🏻❤️ Warm Greets, Sven"

Manager Ramesh Dahai und seine herzlichen Kollegen haben keine Mühen gescheut, mir ein abwechslungsreiches Programm zusammenzustelllen, tolles Essen zu servieren und mich zuverlässig hin und her zu fahren. Zimmer, Garten, Sauberkeit: alles erstklassig. Und sogar Fahrradfahren konnte ich, und kurzfristig bird watching mit Bapu machen - ein highlight. Eine hundert prozentioge Empfehlung!"

"My friend and I stayed here back in February. We got food poisoning from a nearby restaurant, completely derailing our plans. The staff at peacock, who we had booked activities through, we nothing but amazing in helping rearrange plans and being accommodating. The food here was also great, with the room being very clean and with great facilities. Overall, I cannot recommend Peacock enough for the value."

"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package tour that included the room, all meals and the guided tours/safaris. Everything was excellent. Our room was lovely with a large bathroom. Toiletries included body lotion x 1, shampoo x 2 (no conditioner), toothbrush and toothpaste x 2. There was a small fridge that worked well including the freezer. The grounds were large and well maintained with seating around fire pits for cool nights. The breakfast, lunch and dinners provided were buffet style with plenty of variety. Sometimes western style, other times more local food. Lunch and dinners included one dessert dish which wasn't always to my taste. Staff at the front desk and in the dining area were all fabulous. Any small problems were quickly and cheerfully sorted out. The lodge is located in the town area so there are many shops right beside the lodge. Our safari guide, Kapil, was awesome! Not sure I'd remember those instructions on what to do if an elephant, rhino or bear charged me but luckily that didn't happen. If you're staying in the area this is great hotel to choose. Others on our tour were about 2km out of town and while their lodge was nice they felt a bit isolated and their guide wasn't as fabulous as ours!"

"I got my hotel in Kathmandu to book this hotel and I was so impressed. I was greeted with cold towels, juice and bottle of water and while checking in the manager asked what I wanted out of my stay. He recommended that instead of staying at the hotel I instead went on a multi day safari hike through the park staying at home stays (which he arranges at a really good price). However I look at it, he sacrificed his profit for my success in reaching my goals and I am increadable greatful as I had a fab time on hike. I stayed one night and room was great… instantly hot shower! And food the best I had in Nepal. Cost was significantly less than Kathmandu but I can comment on cost of food in the town. The village seems to have a rhino that wonder around during the night; the staff made sure that I was about to see it in person."

"We had a lovely experience at hotel parkland. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff are absolutely lovely & so very helpful. They were able to our dietary requirements with no issues at all. You will not go hungry! We had Babu as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable on local flora & fauna. When he realised that we did not want to participate in elephant tourism, he changed our plans to do a cycle instead. This was an ideal way to see the national Park, much quieter than a jeep & we didn't need to compete with other fees taking photos of the same Rhino. We highly recommend our experience with Hotel Parkland & Babu."
