This was our first time staying at a B&B and it was so nice. Steve and Jen were awesome hosts and the breakfast was wonderful. The grounds were very nice and location was great as well. We loved our room, it was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the rain shower was awesome as well.

The hosts are a highlight of our trip to Saugatuck. The room was very comfortable. I laid down for a half hour nap Saturday afternoon and woke up two and a half hours later, ha ha. Breakfasts were a gourmet treat and my gluten sensitivity was handled very well.

The first decision we made upon arriving at Stephen and Jen’s place was to book it again for the next weekend—this was even before experiencing the incredible breakfast served the next morning. If you're a foodie in search of a culinary adventure, this breakfast will make your day. Stepping out of the J&H Colonial Inn and following Steve’s thoughtful suggestions ensured truly memorable days. There is so much to do in the Saugatuck area, and we will fondly remember the hiking itineraries Steve created, which led us to beautiful natural scenery. If you're looking for a home with a warm and welcoming spirit, this is the place to stay!

This place was AMAZING. As soon as we walked in Steve and Jen made us feel at home. The room itself as clean; comfortable; and QUIET. The best part ... the BREAKFAST. What we were served would have cost at least $30 - $40 / per person at a restaurant. I can't believe they put on this spread every day. It's the only B&B we've ever stayed at that breakfast wasn't a grab and go situation. SO GREAT.

This was a return visit for us as we had visited in 2019. Our room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The breakfasts are gourmet feasts which are lovingly prepared. One suggestion is to let them know if you have any food allergies or foods you prefer to avoid because the breakfast fare is certainly not typical. One morning we had salmon, which is a fish I am not fond of, and the next morning we had a delicious, but spicey, pulled pork mixture on cornbread patties, which sent me on my way with acid reflux for the ride home. I'd definitely recommend the Judson Heath, especially for those who want to be close to the downtown shopping and restaurants, without the noise.

We had a lovely stay at the Judson Heath. Steve & Jen were very gracious hosts and they cook a mean breakfast, it was fantastic. Room was comfortable, location was just a few short blocks into town. I would definitely recommend a stay here, 5 out 5 for me.

Genuine. Authentic b&b experience. Innkeepers were helpful, engaging, full of ideas, boosters for their area, and full of historical depth that gave our visit to the area deeper context. We will return. Breakfasts were to die for: fresh, original, flavorful.

It was great to have a first floor room for our elderly parents. Enjoyed our welcome with "What would you like to have to drink?", along with morning/breakfast conversations that gave us insights, history and background to the inn and surrounding areas.

Perfect place to stay. I loved staying at this B&B. Great room, with lovely historic touches. AMAZING breakfast. Fresh and unique dishes, that means you don’t need lunch! Located minutes from shops and restaurants. Local boat trips and beaches made Saugatuck a lovely location for a relaxing trip.
