Bellissimo, letto e cuscino comodi con coprimaterasso e federa in carta per l'igiene, luce, presa e mensola nel letto con mobiletto interno per riporre lo zaino, tendina nel letto per privacy, bagni puliti, cucina perfetta per cucinarsi da soli o in compagnia con tavoli e sedie, divano e TV, lavatrice e asciugatrice, phon, sapone nelle docce...

El día de la madre lo hemos celebrado comiendo en el restaurante del hotel. El lugar fue un comedor muy acogedor. Como en otras ocasiones el personal ha sido muy atento y amable. La comida esta exquisita, hemos escogido los platos de carta de primero pulpo y de segundo: cordero, rape y bacalao. Postres de la casa. El lugar estaba muy concurrido, se han demorado un poco más de lo normal en servirnos, pero nos han deleitado con una tapa de jamón para acortar la espera. Había hinchable y juegos durante la sobremesa para los niños, idea fantástica a mi parecer. Volveremos

Reserva realizada en su propia web. Fácil y cómoda. Inconveniente, carece de espacio para peticiones, observaciones, etc (octubre 2021) . Llamé por teléfono, y amablemente tomaron nota de las mismas, así como de informar al departamento correspondiente para subsanar esa carencia. Ubicación: Muy cerca del centro del centro de la ciudad. Se puede ir dando un paseo. Áprox 15 minutos a la Plaza Mayor. Parking: Acceso fácil y cómodo. Abundantes plazas, unas más amplias que otras (o eso parece). 14€/día. Está señalizado pero debería indicar con mayor claridad el acceso desde el mismo a la recepción. Recepción: Desde mi punto de vista, el mayor error. El “concepto novedoso” según el recepcionista, carece de lógica. Después de viajar estás deseando llegar al hotel y descansar, lo primero que te encuentras una vez subes del garaje, o entras por la puerta con tu maleta, es la cafetería con gente, evidentemente charlando, lo que supone cierto inconveniente para oír y ser oído. El mostrador de recepción está en un lateral, entre las mesas de la cafetería. Somos dos, no quiero pensar en pequeños grupos y, mucho menos, en grupos numerosos. Te molestan y molestas a los clientes que quieren disfrutar, ya sea por la mañana, tarde o noche de tomar algo, comer o cenar. Cualquier estilo, por muy moderno que este sea, ha de facilitarnos la vida. Personal: Cordial, profesional y muy amable. Habitación: Grande. Silenciosa. Cama cómoda y confortable. Muy escaso “el armario”, tampoco me convence. Baño: Suficiente. Desayuno: comedor anexo a la cafetería del hotel. Bien.

Recently my wife and I stayed at the Parador in Monforte de Lemos. I made a not so complimentary review and the Parador responded. I took issue with their response, so I deleted my original review and am replacing it with this: My orginal review - My wife and I were walking the Camino Invierno and thought it would be nice to take a nice break at the Parador in Monforte de Lemos. We are both seniors. When we arrived around 1 pm, we were very tired and sweaty. We had walked 16 kilometers that day. First issue we had was my reservation was wrong as it showed a reservation for one rather two. After resolving the reservation, we had to wait a few hours before we could get to our room. When we checked in, I asked about getting the clothes we were wearing washed. This consisted of 2 pants, 2 pairs of socks, 3 undershirts, 2 handkerchiefs, 2 pieces of underwear and 1 shirt. I was advised we could put our clothes into a bag and set it outside our room. When we checked out the following day, I was charged 100 euros for the laundry service. I expected the cost to be high but not 100 euros! I was shocked at the price and filed a complaint. The response to my complaint was basically to shrug it off, that the procedure was correct and that nothing could be done. I was not aware of the laundry prices. Had I been I would not have requested the service. In fact in the response, I got I was told it would have been desirable to have consulted with the Parador staff before requesting the service. Well, I did consult with them and never did they indicate the cost would be so high. Moreover, since my stay in the Parador I have had a chance to review things and now wonder then my reservation was messed up why did not the receptionist tell me there was a peregrino rate available? I felt I have been treated rather shabby, it is not they way to treat a customer or a way to build loyalty. I feel I can no longer recommend the Paradors. Parador in Monforte de Lemos reponse - Dear Mr. Cullen, We regret that you felt so bad in our Parador because of the price of the laundry and that this was the reason for having a bad experience in our Parador. As you were informed by customer service, the prices of the laundry are the same in all Paradores, the Parador de Monforte is no exception. Upon arrival, all guests are informed of everything related to the services offered by the Parador, such as opening hours of the different departments, rates of extra services, etc. You can consult it in the online concierge service. The price you have been charged for washing the clothes requested is correct and this is what the company policy indicates. This is a four-star Parador, therefore, prices are in accordance with that category. On the other hand, we are sorry that in your reservation appeared one person instead of two. Hotel renovado, por lo que las instalaciones están impecables; ventanales, al menos de nuestra habitación, ocupando dos paredes enteras, bien insonorizadas y buenas camas. Solo ofrecen desayuno, ya que no tienen cafetería o restaurante. Buena ubicación cercana a la muralla. No puntúo más porque el personal de recepción tiene una falta de profesionalidad absoluta; ni te ofrecen mapas, ni te informan donde está la muralla como referencia,....., vamos que parece un hotel de check in automático, y, como cobran al llegar, pasan de ti al irte y si están fuera fumando o al móvil no se cortan y pasan de ti. En contraste el personal de limpieza y cafetería es amabilisimo.

Fue una estancia super agradable, Marisa es super amable y te recomienda muy buenos sitios, todo super limpio la sala de estar muy confortable y acogedora, tienen el detalle de tener infusiones gratis para los alojados, albergue perfecto para empezar el camino porque esta a 400 metros de empezar el camino

Buena pensión, nueva, y habitaciones limpias y espaciosas. Un poco alejado del centro y de la salida del camino de Santiago. Nos tocó una habitación a pie de calle y habia bastante ruido, fue lo único malo. Desayuno en el bar de la pensión muy rico.
