Olympia Hotel

To much noise a lot of kids yelling since early in the morning we cant get a lot of rest.everyday they are only screaming and shouting even the staff doesn’t tell them smth or to talk to them or anything.im saying it again not recommended it.Nope

Very nice hotel, status at rom 502 . Nice room , but a little outdated . Or else nice staff . Breakfast was nice , but not much variation . But you find the most you need . I really liked the hotel , but the down side is location . It is not far from city Senter , but it is a very steep way upwards many stairs and steep walk upwards . So if you have mobility problems , maybe is not for you

My recent stay at Hotel Olympia in Saranda, Albania, was an absolute nightmare. My two friends and I were embarking on a Balkan tour and decided to spend two nights at this establishment. Little did we know that this decision would lead to a series of inconceivable mishaps that marred our stay in Saranda. Two hours before the scheduled check-in time, we received a call from the hotel, informing us that our reservation had been inexplicably canceled. They claimed that they had neglected to remove the room from the booking website and were now obligated to offer it to other customers. This left the three of us utterly stranded without a place to stay. After an initial refusal to help us and a long argument to explain our reasons, in an attempt to remedy the situation, the hotel arranged for us to spend the first night at another location, which turned out to be an under-construction hotel in the suburbs. This shoddy alternative was not only exorbitantly priced but also a terrible place to spend the night. For the second night, we were begrudgingly accommodated at Hotel Olympia. However, the room we were assigned was beyond disappointing. It was cramped, unattractive, and lacked even the most basic amenities. To add insult to injury, the room had no Wi-Fi, and the water for the shower was ice-cold (attached are photos as proof). The breakfast offered was meager, and the staff's lack of enthusiasm was palpable. Their unhelpfulness and indifferent attitude further exacerbated our dismay. It was abundantly clear that the hotel's management had no regard for their guests' comfort or satisfaction.

Hotel very, very clean. Pool clean and great for families and in general to sit around.Rooms spacious , light, with air conditioning . Owner and staff friendly. Has wood pizza oven. Menu limited and pizza best bet. Downside of hotel, breakfast not very interesting and limited so for14 days it became dull.Breakfast coffee awful. Coffee at bar good. For us however we had problems getting into town for the evening. Hotel very high up on very steep hill.OK if young and an athlete. 500 Lek should usually be price, however the taxi drivers rob you. If hotel calls one you pay 1000 lek with one receptionist another tried to tell us 1500 lek, which we refused to pay. Coming back on the taxi rank they quote anything from 2500 lek. We just kept going up the rank until we found a ride for 1000 lek. So at a minimum we were paying £20 a night return. This is absolute robbery for a seven minute trip. Drivers on the whole not very helpful. Santana not a place for disabled or those with mobility issues. Most streets except promenade one cannot walk along as they are broken up and have cars parked on them. Some good restaurants along the front on promenade.
