Vida Pura Guesthouse

Our stay at Vida Pura was a delight and completely exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable with a unique character and situated in an exquisite valley nestled amongst rolling eucalyptus hills and cork trees. We were met with bird song and the breeze each morning when we had breakfast. It was so peaceful. There are even three donleys! Exploring the land within Vida Pura and discovering how the project’s commitment to sustainability was inspiring and hearing everyone from the project explaining more about water harvesting and the biodynamic ponds during an impromptu coffee break chat was really fascinating. A highlight for us was visiting the biodynamic swimming pond during one evening to listen to a chorus of frogs, spotting plenty of dragonfly larvae whilst Orion dropped behind a hillside. The yoga platform is also situated in a wonderful position with vistas overlooking the valley. The pond provides a great swim too and so much thought has gone into it. The coastline was also beautiful with spectacularly wild beaches, sand dunes and meandering estuaries! We would really love to return again to spend more time in VIda Pura and highly recommend a visit to anyone needing a base in this area of the southwest coast.
