North Santorini - A Luxury Spa Hotel

WOW! WOW! WOW! North muss eines der unglaublichsten Hotels auf der Insel sein – und nicht nur wir waren dieser Meinung – alle, mit denen wir vor Ort gesprochen haben, waren ebenfalls dieser Meinung! Wir blieben im Norden, da wir während unseres Aufenthalts 5 Minuten entfernt im Gem geheiratet haben. Wir waren in einer Premium-Privatsuite (Zimmer 102) untergebracht und diese Suite war nicht von dieser Welt! Es war so privat, überhaupt nicht einsehbar und das Design war perfekt. Das Hotel selbst wurde mit so hohen Standards gestaltet und ist von allen Seiten wunderschön anzusehen. Das Restaurant, in dem Sie frühstücken, ist wunderschön und die Aussicht ist spektakulär. Wir bekamen jeden Morgen ein Blatt zur Auswahl unserer Frühstücksauswahl, das dann schnell bereitgestellt wurde. Am Morgen unserer Hochzeit hatten wir sogar ein schwimmendes Frühstück und es war perfekt. Der Service des gesamten Personals ist tadellos und jeder ist da, um zu helfen, wo er nur kann. Das Hotel funktioniert über WhatsApp, was das Leben so viel einfacher macht – Sie können Zimmerservice, Getränke und Taxis über WhatsApp bestellen. Es ist eine einfache, aber effektive Möglichkeit, Ihren Urlaub noch erholsamer zu gestalten. Als wir von unserer Hochzeit zurückkamen, schmückte das Hotel sogar unser Zimmer mit Rosenblättern und Champagner. Wir hatten die beste Erfahrung und den besten Aufenthalt, den wir je hatten, und wir können Ihnen allen nicht genug danken! Vielen Dank für den zauberhaftsten Aufenthalt – und wir können es kaum erwarten, nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen! 🤍🫶🏻

Experienced travelers will find this hotel far from the advertised 5-star luxury. The only luxury we noticed was the price and the view. The house is full of “rules” and extra charges. At breakfast, we were “allowed” only three drinks per person and one egg dish with three ingredients. The food options were limited (zero vegetables) and mediocre, served on tiny, uncomfortable tables. The main waiter regularly greeted us with “So, what do you want?” while looking at her ordering device. Complaints were met with looks, attitude and “rule reinforcements.” The villa, costing over €800 per night in July 2024, was poorly maintained and outdated, with cheap fixtures. The private and hotel pool were freezing cold in mid-July, “because it’s windy”. Can’t be such a big surprise that a pool needs to be well tempered in a luxury facility, especially if it’s located on a hill on an island. The advertised heated plunge pool turned out to be declared a jacuzzi by the staff. This was properly heated and cleaned only on demand after repeated calls to staff. Cleaning services were basic, didn’t even use a vacuum cleaner, which is a hygiene standard. Of course, no turn-down service, or attention to detail. The spa and wellness area is not freely accessible or included in the price. Guests are “allowed” to use the hot spring for one hour per stay with appointment only, after which they are charged. The hamam is a small steam room, far from an authentic experience. Other facilities include two treatment rooms and a gym. The two male managers we saw were hardly greeting guests, and randomly walking around, mostly staring at people. We witnessed a manager aggressively tell guests, “I expect you in my office in 5 minutes”. Regardless of what those guests did, displaying such a lack of professionalism and consideration for other guests is not excusable. Not in a 5* or in any situation in life. To round up this “luxurious” experience, you will feel like a walking cash machine guaranteed. Everything has an “extra charge” and comes with rules. What a sad story and what a pity that these establishments still exist.

Very attentive services. The hotel is very beautiful and the room is very modern and clean and extremely comfortable. Also the location is in Pyrgos and is not as noise or busy as in Fira or Oia. Very peaceful. Breakfast is very tasty and fresh. The environment is so comfortable and you can spend a good day in the hotel by itself without going out. 10 out of 10!

Definitely one of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed at and definitely the BEST customer service by far you will ever experience! From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all our expectations. The attention to detail and the personalized service we received throughout our stay made our vacation truly special for us. Asimina, Georgia, Michaela, Tasos, and Spiros went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We have created so many wonderful memories during our stay at North Santorini , and we owe a great deal of that to the exceptional service and care provided by all the staff .

Where do I start! An unmatched view from the room! Absolutely gorgeous. We loved the privacy of the rooms, despite having a pool the rooms are stacked in a way that you cannot see you your neighbours. The hotel tell itself is gorgeous, the spa, the main pool area - beautiful. Very clean and modern. Breakfast area has the most amazing view. All the staff at North Santorini were amazing, our host Michaela... THE BEST. We love travelling and always stay in 5 star hotels because we like to receive good customer service. Michaela was exceptional, so welcoming, friendly, professional and personable. Definitely one of the reasons we will return! Thank you North Santorini!
